I'll go on the record and suggest that the "I know why I voted for X, why do you think I voted for X" doesn't really help town. It's like a super secret club handshake and either you get it or you don't.

If this were a townhall I would stand up and yell, "I don't want to play your guessing games! Our lives are at stake! Tell us what you mean!"

It matters not why they think I voted for Bob, nor did I ask for that. The import lies in the way they play around this fact. foodcoats, for example, had a very illuminating reaction that I town read him for.

i had also pointed out their absence, and it wasnt exactly a hard thought to come by
also its not the sort of thing people tend to intentionally parrot
so its strange that rdr spends one of his very few posts picking out this of all things
noting this one down too

He also hasnt commented that I havent commented on him whatsoever. Its slightly excusable since he hasnt been around at all, but this does feel like that moment where I really want some participation from Rdr

Jamie softed that he knew I was "lying" about the chicken yesterday but he had no interest in fully claiming it. Suddenly the fact that I've claimed roleblocked is enough for him to claim, and he's all ready to explain the roleblock as scum also thinking I'm third party. That's not a logical thought progression.

On the other hand, ghug makes a joke about having Jamie's item as the game opens. Jamie believes I'm serious, for whatever reason, and thinks I'm third party fakeclaiming an item (even if you think I was serious, concluding I'm specifically 3P rather than just scum in general makes no sense unless you know something). His team roleblocks me, and then he helpfully volunteers this information to the town, but makes no case either way on whether i should be killed immediately or not.

The scum explanation makes significantly more sense.

Not really, but I did get the inkling that his pressing bozo sort of felt like entrapment, and that he's been somewhat reticent in giving out town reads.

I think my vision of this game is skewed, so I'm revisiting my earlier town reads.

I town read you, bob, and ghug. I did not think Bona was scum either. I was pretty fluid with expressing who I thought was town, so I am curious why you think I was not.

I am not caught up, so there is probably more change to put in here as I try to read every once and awhile. Bot lurking will probably be my main method unfortunately…
