I don’t understand this math. Can you explain it?

Also, why/how does claiming VT affect the odds of snowy’s actual role?
Assuming snowy would not fake claim VT as town, he has eliminated 2 possible roles, leaving 10 roles, 6 that are town and 4 that are not.
Interesting. I don’t think that’s necessarily correct, but it certainly could be.

Regarding your theory that darg and ghug are bussing snowy, is there anything in the way they or snowy have acted in particular that makes you think this? Or is it just a gut feeling?
My theory is based on their collective inclination to bus early as scum (including snowy, who is voting for dargorygel).

Also:

- some random website

darg caught blatantly lying in 4k. ##vote dargorygel

foodcoats, you live this time.

...but wait, could he just be the jester baiting the room with his filthy lies? Discuss
What kind of strategy/approach do you think the Jester would take in general? Do you think darg’s actions so far are in alignment with how you think the Jester might act?
I mean if I were the jester, I think I would just try to be as scummy as possible without being too blatant. I do not believe our average town/mafia is capable of discerning between "scummy" and "trying to be scummy", so it is best to be scum read to not be shot, and potentially lynched.
Do you think this is what dargorygel is doing?

No, but that's certainly no reason not to vote for him.

Question for all, and possibly ##GM CALL if it goes unanswered:

Is there a way to bookmark a webdip forum page such that it always goes to the most recent post?

I probably should've asked this question last game but alas, my final 2 and a half brain cells have a tenuous grasp on life.

Also, we all should know better . Sometimes a person, for instance HB, will go have a quick read and decide,”I’ve got nothing to add right now or I don’t have the energy to try to comprehend; I’ll wait until later.”
I agree, I remember a few times where I logged in to catch up on the thread, and by the time I caught up someone had made a comment that I was lurking because I was online and had not posted for a while.

I don’t see me casting a vote until around the post-halfway mark of the day. Not even sure who I’d want to sheep over on to a wagon but food and snowy seem like good bets. Bozo too. But that is why I need to wait until tomorrow.

I misconstrue nothing. In general, posts like yours and foodcoats' are annoying. You assume that everything other people say is incorrect, which is a bad habit you should all grow out of.

I knew you made that post, yet my comment remains true
I didn’t assume you were incorrect. I was looking for clarification. Thank you for providing it.

Your comment remains true, but it is unclear what your position on it is, because you say that lurking is not a crime (which I take to mean not scummy) but that you will push to have HB daykilled for this.

Does that act of lurking make you scumread HB?
It would be silly to necessarily do so, when I do it all the time as town, but I certainly do it more as scum. That being said, I despise the connotations of the phrase "not alignment indicative (NAI)" because it's such a cop out phrase. All things are alignment indicative; most things are just insufficiently so to merit comment. I know that this is the idea most people are expressing when they say NAI, but often I just hear "I can't be bothered to stake a position in it" and I hate it.

And yes I see now that you were only seeking clarification, apologies.
So… will you take a position on it? Do you scum HB to some/any degree currently?

Well, of course: I don’t want to vote for the Jester. And I brought up this conversation because you suggested darg might be the third party. But perhaps that was… in… jest?

Generally I don't worry overmuch about accidentally jestering day 1. Good on them if they did, but I think pure min/max it's better to try to properly vote out scum than carefully avoid type II errors, and ending up voting out town.

That being said, trying to act like you're trying to act like you're not the jester is certainly a scum play. Not necessarily one that would be employed, but a possibility. Which returns to fuel my previous claim that the jester wifom is best avoided until we have at least a little better of an idea what's going on.

No, I perhaps was unclear. I’d probably follow one of the three of you to a wagon. I don’t scumread any of you.

Darg recently learned a new trick so if he townreads me, I shall probably townread him.

Ghug never learned a new trick, so I shall probably never townread him.

Johnny big horse is a multi-trick pony. I shall probably adore him.
I learn new tricks all the time

Do you find the fact itself odd or do you find it odd that Johnny chose this particular fact? If the latter, is there anything you would deduce about Johnny’s alignment based on him raising this fact?
I find it odd anyone would state this fact specifically for Wisconsin, but I do not find it alignment indicative.
Well, to use the logic I am used to seeing here....

University of Wisconsin has a sports team, whose mascot is a badger, and the Mongolian word for badger rhymes with mafioso. If I was mafia, I would never refer to Wisconsin, as it is an obvious giveaway to the Mongolian speakers, and therefore I must be town.
Can't argue with that, bozo.
