Why Vecna? Could you explain that to me?

I think the way Vecna was defending Bozo is exactly what scum Vecna does when he wants to defend a scum partner. Of course this depends on Bozo being scum. The vote on Food is also something that I don´t see town Vecna doing as Food is a solid town read of mine.

Also, town Vecna would usually be at least pressuring me if not pushing the hell out of me at this point and he is just ignoring me.

Also, you have a unique pespective about D1 if you are town as you will be sure that EOD was TxT, but you just didn´t consider this in any way. So, what you expect scum to do in a TxT EOD and what you conclude about yesterday?

I tend to agree with you here. I think one of Vecna or Ghug is scum, just not sure which one. I don´t think it´s both.

Last night, mafia wanted to maximize their chances of killing a town PR. Otherwise, there's little to no reason to shoot Dargo. No offense to Darg, but he isn't exactly a priority kill.

They also likely did not want to hit the Jester.

I believe Snowy was really roleblocked.

So, ghug could have not been shot because they think he's jester, but he also could have not been shot because he's mafia. Putting a pin in it for now.

Vecna is another person I think is a likely D1 nightkill. Damo too.

I wonder if it means anything that Dargo was shot instead.

Do you not think it weird that nobody tried to save ghug at the end then? We spent 25 minutes with ghug at top 1:20 out, then 40 minutes from 0:45 - 0:05 tied top 3 with 3 a piece. Ghug is a potential good wagon today if for no other reason than that stupid Jester claim which will chase town all the way to the end. Big bad on my part yesterday, should have broke the tie going to ghug rather than Bob.

Also snowy… you defended ghug yesterday, and you’re defending him again. But you also made an impassioned post about why we should DK him yesterday, before backing away from it.

Why are you so opposed to scumreading ghug? You seem to be very anti-scum!ghug, meanwhile you accuse the entire player group of being closeminded. Is there something about ghug you think is super townie?

I am however coming to conclude that it is simply unconscionable not to vote out ghug today.

I understood the first jester claim - he framed it as a joke, a joke I set up, and long ago I also made many such similar comments. Just in good fun, you see.

But then town had a very lengthy discussion on the merits of autovoting jester, and he came in and doubled down on the claim. Also understandable - he is in fact the jester, and just wants to fulfill his wincondition. Ez pz

But then he says... he doesn't want to be voted out? Later retracts his claim and says he hates the concept of hard claiming, and also that he faked his 2nd jester claim because he didn't want to get voted?

Call me simple, but town doesn't fake a role to avoid being voted out. You just bite the bullet while doing your best to organically shift the vote.

I mean yes, a PR might fake such a role, but let's be real here - if by voting out ghug we out PR he brought it upon himself.

You're missing the part where I think killing the jester D1 is the wrong move and I only felt the need to clarify that I'm not claiming once it started to become clear that that opinion wasn't the popular one.

So I read it in conjunction to what I perceived to be ghug reacting post by post as he read through the pages, and his jester claim and retraction made subsequent sense to me

And once again, why does scum!ghug claim Jester? That was my defense yesterday. This is my defense today: why did nobody try to save ghug?

Add all these together and we paint a solid townidiot!ghug picture.

I am not uncognizant of the possibility of his being scum. I stated that he would be someone I'm willing to vote for if my other pushes fail, push comes to shove (because otherwise we'll have some stupid ass town wagons again that I'd be even more reluctant to vote for), but that doesn't mean I should not try to bring town to see what I perceive to be reasonable and more importantly accurate points.
