Would you say that this is customary for you? If so, who do you think you would hypothetically vote for if someone put a gun to your head and if not, what's different?

I am going to revisit an interaction at EON1 that I can't discuss right now.

I haven't given you much thought, but this intuitively strikes me as a pure scum action. I will not press you to reveal the topic, and I doubt you would regardless, but why do you suppose you chose to announce ahead of time that you will discuss said interaction later, rather than simply doing so at night?

When it says this thread is [hidden], does that mean non-participants cannot see this thread? I ask because I wondered how many "guests" are people who are simply private browsing (did that before as scum) and if the answer is all of them, that has... implications.

Macca made a huge skill level leap past game. There is a drop off so far in investment level and behavior. They had grown into a new town player— all ive seen so far is a regression back to low involvement and lurking.

If there is a diamond in the rough town so far its chaqa. I cant wrap my head around any actual reason to scumread chaqa. which isnt enough for most folks but im all about lifting up our weakest folk and sorting from bottom tier up. Chaqa doesnt have to do much here as scum because people are tired of killing him. Sparing him in his supposed last game is kinda dumb because he always survives as scum and dies as town. im at the hope he is town point of mind

I saw this coming, but I would like to point out 3 key differences between that game ad this.

1. That game finished the week before I got smashed with all my assements. I have a lot less energy now having just come off them.
2. I got good in the late game, we're still early doors here, give it some time.
3. You, Jamie, Bona, and many other good high posters were absent. That low post count was much easier to work through.

I swear I'm not a mafioso!

Just as a fun mental exercise, try to recall all the players currently in the game and see whose names comes up in what order, and who doesn't come up at all.

Mine was like this, and I don't think the first few are particularly indicative, merely the order in which I wrote down:

Now once I read the name off the cheat sheet, foodcoats and hamilton brian's contribution was evident to me and I was just unfamiliar with them, but macca was immediately noted to me as yet being entirely uncontributing.

Which is not to say he's the only one, merely that he stood out. You don't have to share your results necessarily, I just thought it was useful.

Uhh, you were strongest in the first couple phases last game. I'll give you the other two, but one of the best things you did last game was clearly state your opinions, which can be done without being especially active.

Brainbomb, you can post thoughtful and perhaps helpful posts, and sometimes you post noise... maybe more often noise. I think that is the best way to play mafia. Give lots of good sound reasoning, and then lead the dupes astray.

You have convinced me that Eden is one of the town's enemies.

But there are two more, and look, I am not as clever as you legacy players, but it seems to me, we should be looking at Brainbomb (because he mixes too much noise with good reasoning), ghug (for soliciting my opinion which nobody should do) and one more, I forget who.

I am not convinced. Macca came in, promised to read the thread and then stated that they actually read it, made ~5 posts not one of which related to the current game, and vanished into the ether.

Not very promising.
