I do not townread Vecna as strongly as people seem to think. He's more very soft town, but I would use that phrasing regardless of my perception of the other player.
I know that you didn't say you townread him. You just assumed that Vecna is town as if you knew this already.
Hmmmm rereading that thread is interesting. But... I dunno, why does Bona saying Vecna can’t “read into” something imply bona KNOWS Vecna is town, hence scum?

Yavu you seem to be reaching to latch onto something that was a reach in the first place... but it’s also odd that bona ACCEPTS that people think he townreads Vecna. Quickly scanning bona’s iso again and he never claims it, he even distances from it by saying “whether or not Vecna is town” (paraphrasing). So that’s very bizarre. It seems to me town would say “dafuq when i townread vecna?”
I like this post, though. I don't think it's scummy for Bona to say people can't read into something either, but I don't agree with your last point. I think scum!Bona would be more likely to point out that he didn't townread Vecna if he knew Vecna were town and was getting called out for this.

so HB is naively town and Novice Scum. and not a single one of kgray, ghug, vecna, maniac, damo, or Jamie has any opinion on Hamilton. players who all have more logged hours playing with hamilton than any of us
I just find Hamilton so difficult to read. My instinct is always to scumread him so I'm defaulting to town unless he does something I can really point to as scummy. The only time I've seen him as scum he was caught pretty decisively, so I think if he's scum we'll figure it out.

also my current impressions as far as D1 is any good for that: Chaqa strong town, brain and vecna pretty towny, damo is damo, rd is worth having a closer look, demonrhk is somewhat towny, ghug looks good (but somehow something is whispering in my ear he's evil), from the few thing's I've seen from maniac he is ok (but would like see more), jamiet is ... surprisingly silent, that's unusual, then dargo looks bad right now, I feel something not too good from hamilton, but that might be just a thing with 'the third to claim missed start' thing

if I had a gun, right now, I'd (threaten and) shoot in this kinda order: dargo > hamilton > rd = jamiet
Of the people you mention here, how many have you not played with before?

Been busy with some personal stuff (shoutout to Eden for writing a 14-page quasi-legal brief for it) all day. Anything super important I need to re-read in depth happen? I very skimmed the last 10 pages or so.

Bona, you’ve pointed out a lot of things you don’t like. What have you really liked so far? Who do you townread?
I like celaph, kgray, and ghug so far. Most people are only slightly one way or the other so far, but they stand out to me.
nice reads yav

I get the feeling that us 3 all stand out in your mind because you have more experience with us. Can you point to the things that we've actually said that you've liked?
Well for starters you all agree that the votes on me were dumb lol. I'll try and dig some more specific stuff in a bit.

on reread ghug does a fair amount of echoing kgray (especially pretty recently) I'm not as sure about him anymore, but still townlean him.

Brain's for sure scum.
Ghug, you’ve sort of flippantly called brain, kgray and Chaqa scum. I don’t get the impression you actually think any of them ARE scum... but you haven’t called anyone else scum, other than sheeping Vecna onto Maniac... which also strikes me as unserious.

Is there anyone you seriously think might be scum at this point?
All of those people lol
Why do you think I might be scum?

@celaph @kgray I also like to know what you think of my 'dargo trapped' theory
I don't know about a trap... I don't understand why he moved to Maniac but I don't really understand the scumreads on Maniac in general. I actually think darg's move to Maniac was less opportunistic than his vote for Bona, considering ghug and Vecna had been on Maniac for a while before he moved there. If it was just about joining a big wagon he could have moved to food... but I guess there are other reasons why scum!Darg might pick Maniac over food there.

also, since you're here right now

@ghug please tell me, what do you think about my dargo theory
That he's looking to follow on a wagon?

I legitimately like the Maniac vote as much as I can like any vote day one. Darg's votes are unimpressive but not completely out of character. I'm more concerned with the way he walked back the Bona vote when it became clear his logic was backwards.

rdr, you are surprisingly defensive so early in the game when brainbomb merely called you "comfortable." Why do you think you need to fight this so hard? I don't think brain has even said you are scummy.
This feels kinda coachy.
WTF? Do you think Food is coaching me? Really?
I mean that's how I read it. You don't need coaching, but does food know that?
