There's a reason I'm known for having the vig fucking shoot me out of nowhere. It's because I make plays that get individuals to scumread me, even though the majority of town does not.
The vig decides to take the shot rather than wait and see, and I get killed for it.
Do I give a shit?

Of course not. I'm going to die making the plays I believe are optimal and y'all can fuck yourselves.
I've done my best analyzing these wagons from the previous day. I think they all look like trash and the ones who look the worst are HR, donny dude, and EMC. If I get DK'd tomorrow, I guess that's the universe we're in.

How do you square this mentality of "I'm going to make plays" and everyone else is going to do extra work reading me and have extra trouble closing out the game with "Let's not kill D1, don't want the team to have troubles"?

Did you forget my post from ten minutes ago? The downside is revealing there's no doctor and letting scum run riot for the entire game!

Dude someone's gonna pick doc if they can. How many cards are dealt? What're the odds town doc is actually in the game? All they have to do is keep their mouth shut and this works perfectly.

this is a TEAM game, not a HERO game. The "best" players don't win for town by being kooky. They win by obv towning and clearing others and bringing town together.

We remember the Hero wins because they're fantastic. The fake claiming cop and directing vig. But for every one of those, there's 3 losses where someone tries to solo win the game.

How is this of all things PR hunting? Everybody knew damo was an investigative already. And only mafia want conspiracy theorist alive.

Aliens can't really kill much.

This is a game with a "scum team" that can only kill once or twice. (And possibly take away our PRs powers)

Then there is possibly an SK who can't be investigated. All scans (cop/conspiracy/vanilla) make SK look like town. SK *likes* us having scans around.

Then there is possibly a (very small...so small it may be just 1 and another SK) mafia who can kill. They *love* conspiracy theorists. But they don't like cops and vanilla cops.

Even the mafia team wants to not kill damo, since they aliens will assume it's just an SK doing the killing, and sk is avoiding investigatives. The aliens have to use their kill on him.

Y'all's claim list has him as Conspiracy Theorist, but that's very wrong. He never says that, in fact, he says:

and

celaph is NOT alien

the odds of him being mafia are quite low

Notice he says "probably not mafia", and "Only 1 mafia role". He is referring to the Mafia Goon, which appears as "Vanilla" to the Vanilla Cop. He knows it's not alien, because none of them are vanilla.

Yep, this was my understanding. As others particularly KGray had it in their heads that Damo is conspiracy theorist and Damo didn't want to say who was right me or Kgray, I had to let it slide as talking about town PR roles isn't good. Now you've bought it up and the fact it doesn't much matter to scum if Damo is Cop or CT, then perhaps Damo need to be specific particularly if it affects town's thinking.

Bunny st pointed the obvious about why we didn't discuss this before. And I just fail to understand why town want to narrow PR possibilities (or maybe you are not town).
