I understand that it's a scenario that could fit the facts but I don't find it particularly likely and I really dislike that there's talk of a Macca wagon just because they happened to be the aliens' RB choice.

Looking at that other macca scum game from m49, Macca likes to storytell theories to target someone and prefers to posts reads as a large list. Another thing there is that he fakeclaimed like 3 times.
It does not seem like he has posted super large posts this game targeting specific people at first glance.

Yes, I have a lot of mech reads. It's a mechy game. But of the style reads, Donny tops the list.

Just because someone isn't loudly and confidently pushing their own theories or ideas doesn't mean they're scum. I don't think he's trying to get credit for anything, and I think he's had plenty of original thoughts.

I don't buy that aliens don't want SK/maf dying. The goal of each faction is to pit the other factions against each other. SK and maf can kill them without warning, whereas they have more control over town actions. A townclear is a target for the mafia and confirmed scrum is a target for town, which means one less kill going towards an alien.

Targeting Macca for a RB with the idea that HR was going to get off? Why put HR in this position at all? I don't see a comfortable and experienced scum team here. I see either a scum team that feels cornered or one that is inexperienced.

HR is very experienced so this argument makes no sense unless you think he just sat quietly and didn't post in their QT, and this also sounds exactly like an argument you made in M54 to shade me when I was a new player. Hate it.

Tell me why he collapsed like he did EOD2. I still don't understand it, and I've reread that EOD twice now. I have no idea what happened. The only theory I can come up with is that the aliens are panicking and swinging away.

There's a difference between HR freaking out on me at EOD and the team coming up with a plan to try to salvage it at night, but that's really not my point at all. You can't say things like "aliens did this sub-optimally and therefore they're inexperienced" when the only alien that's flipped is one of the most experienced players in the game. It's a bad argument and I think it's just a little too convenient considering you're pushing the wagons of two relatively inexperienced players.

And yeah, okay. So outing town would make sense so scum can NK them. But I still don't think outing scum would make sense given the alien's lack of killing abilities.

But I refuse to use this argument on whether or not Macca is scum anyway.
