Celaph is mechanically confirmed not VT, so he's probably going to claim something else.

So then he lied, and we vote him off

That seems to be the prevailing opinion, though I'm not as convinced as most (VT is the default claim; it's not like fakeclaiming a PR).

I don't really want another day of mostly nothing, though, which is why I'm suggesting we sort out whatever he's going to claim ASAP so that we can either hammer him or move on to other targets.

If celaph was town PR, he would have no reason to not claim honestly (or a lesser PR) when he was on the block d1. But he didn't claim PR, so he is not PR. It's mechanically confirmed that he's not VT, so therefore he is not town and should be voted =D

This is equally true of scum. Not claiming is arguably sensible if you think you have a chance of surviving, which has happened twice.

Why are you not at all interested in celaph's motivations for fakeclaiming as various alignments when you were so interested in your own?

He also didn't claim VT while on the chopping block. He claimed it during the first night. I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion when you weren't aware of any details of his role a page ago.

I'm less interested b/c he was saved by HR and HR flipped scum. It's really not that hard. He's a huge favorite to be scum (alien in this game) based on that alone.

IMO the second wagon is always on the chopping block for the following day. He'd already received huge pressure.
