I think I may take a break next full game depending on the setup.

I believe Eden and I are running some mini games soon. But I want at least a week or two break.
Sign up as a sub - that made it more laid back for me.

Very well played, aaro. Good on the rest of the town too.

I don't think I'm ever going to forgive brainbomb.
Eh, you guys definitely had a weird D2 in retrospect...
Yeah, there's a reason I'm not a fan of bussing early early.

I think I have this trajectory when I play scum a bunch in quick succession where I play really well the second time and then get too focused on getting the minority of players who think like me to townread me to the detriment of getting everyone else to townread me, and then I look like a fool.

What gets me is that brain and Jamie were at least in line to get deep cover, and I had a nice opportunity to claim cop and try to flush the real one out early, and that totally blew up.

I also definitely got what I was asking for from you and Chaqa with the voting people for being bad rather than scummy schtick.
Yeah, you were definitely off compared to normal this game and it flagged me right away. I expected some ‘you suck’ jabs of some sort and when they didn’t show up, I was like ‘Hmmm....’

I think bozo's scumtell is going into his deathtunnels in the scum QT instead of the game thread

Also any statements I made about scum performance and scum tells will probably be funny in retrospect when I roll scum for the first time and self destruct.

Also if kgray is reading this, sorry I got your name wrong. I forgot the mnemonic.

No excuses aaro. It's Kinky Ghug Really Appalls You, not Kinky Ghug Really Excites You. The difference is enormous, and should be obvious...

I was going to say that I have a friend with last name Grey so it's not my fault but I checked and it was spelled Gray, so who's silly now?

On the whole, too boozy. I didn't think that you were cop and figured the mafia felt similarly, guess I was wrong on that. My N4 save was on aaro which I'm happy about.

From scum qt Brainbomb: "donny is playing pretty well too. he just isnt connecting the dots hes picking up. hes noticing things but lacks the next level ability to recognize what is scummy. "

Too true like on ghug and bozo. How do I make that next step?
I actually thought you might be scum for this at one point. You had so many nice comments and then ended up off wagon.

I'm just happy I figured out celaph pretty early.
That partially scared me, but also made me happy that I wasn't getting pure townreads D2.

I'm making this post because it's funny, not because I want to be mean.

Night 1: 20 players, 5 mafia, chance of hitting PR = 2/15
Night 2: 18 players, 4 mafia, chance of hitting PR = 2/14
Night 3: 16 players, 3 mafia, chance of hitting PR = 2/13
Night 4: 14 players, 2 mafia, chance of hitting PR = 2/12
Night 5: 12 players, 2 mafia, chance of hitting PR = 2/10

Chance of hitting at least 1 PR by random guessing: 58%
Correct. :-)

Some thoughts:

Town generally played well. The way multiple townies collaborated to help conceal the identity of the cop - not by hushing things up, but by having several of you softing cop. This worked very well for you.

Aaro did a very good job as Cop. It helped you that he's a relatively new player so there was no way to meta-read him but, also, he kept his cool and did not claim at the time where a lot of you thought Hamilton was the Cop. A more naive player might have outed themselves "I'm the real Cop!", which I'd point out, several town players were calling for. Aaro kept cool and as a result we failed to guess it was him.

Brainbomb's inability to avoid panicking, when he and Ghug were both on the block, seriously exposed him and guaranteed that instead of probably losing *one* scum PR as a result of D2, we actually lost *both* scum PRs *and* put Hamilton Brian in a difficult spot.

Hamilton, you tried your best, but I'm not sure why you seemed unable to explain your Brainbomb vote, under questioning, when we had rehearsed this in the Mafia QT the night before.

I think Bozo and I both played ok, to be honest, but after D3 we would only have had a chance at victory if we could catch the Cop.

We failed to catch the Cop, so GG town.

I figured they had no choice to but to believe me, since they needed something to go right. But I'll keep that in mind.
