Third Age. These Mordor Orcs are really innumerable.

I think I'm gonna make a switch to Third Age: Reforged. Some of the stuff with the third age setup is just a bit too wonky. As you said, those hordes are innumerable. Also, my spies in Rhun report their cities are pulling in almost 6k gold each.

While the other realms of men have very narrow economic revenues? Quite unfair.

Honestly I had to go in and manually adjust the gold penalty for distance from the capital/corruption. It was just unplayable in the base state.

I am not so gifted in computers to do things like that.

I have to admit, now that you've drawn attention to it, it is a particularly feeble thread title and opening post combination of yours. I'm not surprised you want to pass it off as a computer error.

I read instructions on how to do it. There's basically a single text file that all you have to do is delete one number and replace it with another. Ah, found it.

1. Go to SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\data
2. Find descr_settlement_mechanics.xml and open it with notepad
3. Search for <factor name="SIF_CORRUPTION"> and change the value next to it from 1.0 to 0.5
4. You can also change <factor name="SOF_DISTANCE_TO_CAPITAL"> from 16 to 8 if you want (this affects public order penalties)
