I am definitely England, and I say France should get the heck out of the channel, I don't like him being there. I also ask Germany to please join me in the battle against this soogy-croissant waving pig.

I will be leaving the English Channel, but I won’t tell you which direction I’ll be going.

Germany, I will be moving to Burgundy this round. I know Squigs already said that you are not moving there, but in case Squigs is not Germany I want to be prepared.

I mean, it's pretty obviously going to Belgium ;p

Although, how favourable are you to the idea of bouncing Holland? Just a random thought lol

Say what now? A move against Austria by opening Moscow-Ukr and War-Gal is a clear danger to you. You definitely should bounce him out of Sweden.

As for Austria, support yourself into Greece and take your 50/50 shot on Russia.

Just want to reiterate this. Austria needs to do this if they want to fix their lot

I think the default move to Turkey here is to try for Greece in order to force Austria's hand. A 50/50 guess at Russia in an Austrian home SC is great news for Turkey.

I do hope that Turkey and Russia can have some meaningful cooperation in this game and avoid unnecessary squabbles over Rum

I think Turkey should definitely squabble with Goldie over Rum.

I've readied my orders again. I'm disappointed in the press so far.

Would anyone mind if I searched for a replacement for myself? I'll think about how that could work without impacting the game negatively. Though perhaps there's no solution..

Maybe if someone PMs me and agrees to take over regardless of what country I am. Then I ask for another mod to do the swap so no one's the wiser. Though I can see some issues with that as well, so don't PM me yet.

I'm not nearly as inclined to bounce Holland as I might have been had France not entered the Channel. Given France would be the main beneficiary, no, I will not bounce them. In fact I am more inclined to do the opposite, since France will not work with me.

If you bounce Belgium though, France remains in the Channel. Are you sure you've given enough thought to that?

Also, if you truly are England, which you're not, France being in the Channel is entirely your fault for not being here at all in Spring. You can't be cross over that with anyone other than yourself.

Hm, I disagree. France will obviously not risk going after London for at least another year or so, or else they'll earn the ire of Germany. Attempting or bouncing Holland with the implied "France will support in next year" as a show of goodwill first can't go too wrong. Not to mention, it brings in a guessing game on the German player's side.

Norwegian to Norway (hey Russia, no fight with you!), NSea convoys to bounce at Holland, and Germany can't do anything about it.

The other option, of course, is to full on attack Russia and work with Germany in that regard - convoy to Norway and Barents - to which then I'd hope the German succeeds in bouncing Sweden. Russia's gone south, so it's not as implausible for this to go well.

However, since the alleged German players have (I'm under the impression of, but haven't checked) agreed to leave Sweden to Russia, implying further goodwill and working together, I'm not as optimistic in regards to this.

I'm into either option. I prefer the second as long as that means Russia is bounced. They deserve it for breaking the DMZ.
