Flicke: I cant imagine anything else could be sending escape pods. I am detecting lifeforms aboard. roughly about 6 people per pod. hard to say. All of their parachutes have successfully deployed. So we do have survivors.

Great - any way you can communicate with them and let them know they are welcome here?

Flicke: Pod Lander one at 6.6 has lit a signal flare. They request pickup.

...and so does 7.8...

12.10 has landed in dense forest.

7.8 has landed in wetlands.

The four pods at 4.8 are still landing

How large are these shield batteries? Are they able to protect our entire biodome if necessary?

Asil: I attempted to adhere to your requests. My connection to the ship was fully severed. Theyve gone off the grid.

Whatever happened it not only shut them down it also fried one of my VPN's.

Something really fucked that server up
There's clearly a sinister influence on the ship, even more malevolent than Brainbot. It's not worth the risk to investigate, and it seems most of the survivors have escaped already.

We should send a few scouts with snipers further behind in position to take down any possible zombies that come out of those things.

@leon - you don't think it's worth it to attempt to take control of the battleship? Would give us a big leg up on future defense. And we don't want to risk Brainbot regaining control of the ship.

Too much risk. There's clearly a lot of evil powers at play aboard Battleship Branimir. Brainbot can't regain control over a destroyed ship.

If you note the low number on the crisis, it means it's a really favorable crisis for us. I think that's why the ship went down. Not because something evil is at work.

I don't want us to get embroiled in whatever evil machinations are occurring on Battleship Branimir. It's far easier to just destroy it once and for all. We can always get the story of what happened from the survivors.

I understand that the crisis card was favorable, but some physical force must still have caused the Battleship to go down and even fry our Turkish ally's hacker's devices. I don't really want to find out what that force is, but I won't veto the proposal if passed unless there's further suggestions of something being amiss.

Okay. So how do we pick them up? I guess our space fighters can travel to them. Ike's Python.

Not sure if using those would effect our ability to try to hijack Branimir.

Also, unsure how many people those can hold.

We do have the 3 transport ships that Ynbar sent. We could use those to pick up survivors.

Mid Phase updates

*Firma has returned to the colony with a tissue sample*
*All escape pods have lit signal flares requesting aid*

I say we should send a scout party to each one, as I mentioned before, on foot and with adequate defenses and aid. We can send our doctor to the place with 4 escape pods and some medics to each of the other ones. We can also bring along some healing lilies as well. Since this appears to be a midphase event, I won't bother making a proposal. I'll order the scout parties to be sent out in about 4 hours unless there are any objections.

Flicke: Hammond has not been seen. The transports are property of Ynbar but they can hold (1) pop each. We would only need 1 transport to rescue all the survivors.

Bratislava: I would like to conduct an experiment if Tierney and the council approve.

We would like to draw blood from Styll, Lazlo, Chagall our deceased worker and Firma.

We want to analyze male-female-and an alien. Some of the medics wanna make sure were all alright.
The pathogen recombinant regenerative cells in Diamor are sort if weird. I know Uriah our geneticist would be a good person to pass our findings too as well.

Ill publish what our team finds in phase 5 if the council permits.

Flicke: Concerning Sector I mean were in the Pegasus Galaxy. That wonder would allow communication even beyond our galaxy.

Concerning shields, well... I uh... anytime I can give us a shield up to 78 hit points. If it goes to 0 we kinda... die. Cuz I blow up.

But the shield batteries would only eat 20 of my hit points. You could drive them anywhere on the planet too and secure an area.

We should use the transport ships to pick up the survivors.

And yeah. The experiment seems like a good idea.
