803 AD Emperors Nikephoros I and Charlemagne settle their imperial boundaries in the Adriatic Sea and sign the Pax Nicephori ("Peace of Nikephoros"). The Byzantines retain control of the coastal cities and islands in Dalmatian Croatia, while the Frankish rule is accepted over Istria and the Dalmatian hinterland. This way the two empires divide their Roman heritage (oddly enough none of them controls Rome being controlled by the Pope).

806 g (1 lb 12.43 oz) is the record for the most ice cream eaten in one minute achieved by Isaac Harding-Davis (Australia) on Channel NINE Today in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 16 July 2017. Though suffering mild symptoms of brain freeze, he was able to eat just over two tubs of Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake in one minute. The host, Brenton Ragless, was only able to get through two spoonfuls within the same amount of time.

This is a record I'd like to try breaking!

807 AD An uprising occurs in the city of Mérida, the capital of Extremadura, against the Umayyad Emirate of Córdoba, it is the first of many. Yet the city will be free only 413 years later.

I'm reading that the reconquista of Mérida occurred in 1230, not 1220.

Yes, you are right, I misscalculated.

808 AD Exiled King Eardwulf of Northumbria is able to return to his kingdom, with the support of Charlemagne and Pope Leo III. He ousts the usurper, King Ælfwald II.

On 8/11 in 1929, Babe Ruth became the first baseball player to hit 500 home runs. Also, 811 is the largest minimal prime in base nine.

811 AD Abbasid caliph al-Amin appoints Ali ibn Isa ibn Mahan as governor of Khurasan, in northeast Persia, and sends him with an army of 40,000 men against his half-brother al-Ma'mun. (this brotherly love!) Ibn Mahan's army is defeated by a smaller army under Tahir ibn Husayn, at Rayy. During the fighting Ali ibn Isa ibn Mahan is killed (he was going asking for it!)

Oh, it didn't appear when I looked. Mea Culpa.

On September 11 813 AD, Louis the Pious, king of Aquitaine is crowned co-emperor of the Franks, with his father Charlemagne. (Louis was the only surviving legitimate son but at least he overlived his father!),
