Alas it took me too long to write 1078 and Flavius posted a 1078 event.

1079 AD Moorish forces, aided by Castilian knights under El Cid (Rodrigo Diaz), defeat and rout the invading army of Emir Abdallah ibn Buluggin of Granada, near the town of Cabra.

1085, the English crown sends agents out to account for all property held by all shires in England, to calculate taxes, and dues. It's named the Doomsday Book, as there was no mechanism to dispute what the book recorded, and was considered inalterable.
1086, the Doomsday Book is completed.
DE/FF-1087 USS Kirk. Instrumental in the evacuation of South Vietnamese service members after the fall of Saigon ended the invasion and subjugation of the Republic of Vietnam, and its people. The final group of survivors were literally dropped onto the deck of the Kirk, and the chinnok that had ferried them over was ditched in the sea by the pilot who, grabbed his giant brass balls, and jumped out into the ocean, to be rescued as there was no longer any room to land the aircraft.

1089 "is a square number (33 squared), a nonagonal number, a 32-gonal number, a 364-gonal number, and a centered octagonal number. 1089 is also the first reverse-divisible number."

1091 An F4 tornado sucks the London Bridge up, and spits it out all over the place. (You've heard of London Bridges falling down? It's plural for a reason.)

1092 AD Emperor Alexios I (Komnenos) bribes one of Kilij Arslan's (sultan of the Sultanate of Rum) officials to recover Sinope (the capital of Paphlagonia), and neighboring coastal regions. He uses the Byzantine fleet to defeat the Seljuk navy off the coast of Cius in Bithynia.

1094 Duncan II (son of the late King Malcolm III) invades England at the head of an army of Norman knights Scotland, aided by his half-brother Edmund. Donold III mobilizes his army and kills Duncan II in battle in the Lowlands. He re-takes the Scottish throne, Edmund sides with Donald as co-ruler and is named as heir as he has no children. (Very Diplomacy there.)

1096: Peter the Hermit kickstarts the People's Crusade, a group of about 40,000 peasants from France and Germany that walked all the way across Europe and Byzantium, only to be massacred in the Battle of Civetot by the Seljuk Turks later that year, near Nicaea.

1098AD. A monk in the city of Antioch, had a vision, that led him to a lance he claims pierced the side of Jesus (called the Lance of Longinus). The Crusaders rallied behind the holy symbol, and broke the siege, driving the Suljuk army into retreating to Mosul.

1099AD. The Crusades kick off, fully.

1100 Angel number that means the Angels are supporting you to do something new, and you should take advantage of the opportunity to start a new venture. (I mean, I guess this a better reason than because you hate your job and life?)

ERA 1101 was a computer system designed and built by Engineering Research Associates (ERA) in the early 1950s

1102AD Valencia (in Spain) is caputred by Sultan Yusuf ibn Tashfin.

1103AD Li Jie, Chinese government minister, publishes his Yingzao Fashi technical treatise on Chinese architecture, during the reign of Emperor Hui Zong of the Song Dynasty. (990 some odd years later, ANTIFA burns it for being Fascist.)

1104AD The Venetian Arsenal is founded, industrializing the Venetian military industrial complex.

1105AD The Almoravid emir, Yusuf ibn Tashfin (Mentioned in 1102), sends a maritime expedition to Palestine from Sevilla to ward off the Crusaders and perhaps to reconquer Jerusalem. The fleet of about seventy ships rushes into a storm in the Mediterranean Sea, and is never seen again.

1106AD The Great Comet of 1106 is seen and reported by several civilizations around the world. Lasting for 40 days.

1107AD Emperor Hui Zong writes his Treatise on Tea, the most detailed description of the Song sophisticated style of tea ceremony.

Might get caught up.

1108AD The Taira and Minamoto clans join forces to rule Japan, after defeating the warrior monks of the Enryaku-ji temple near Kyoto. The Taira replaces many Fujiwara nobles in important offices – while the Minamoto gains more military experience by bringing parts of Northern Honshu under Japanese control (approximate date).

Some illiterate Englishman choosing to transcribe the song as "London Bridge IS falling down" is as wrong as someone commenting on this game without at least posting a number game entry. If the phrase was meant to contain the word IS, instead of Bridge's, the word THE would have been placed at the beginning of the phrase.
The song came about because there have been rebuilt half a dozen or more times, sometimes completely, other times only partially.

Ah, as the god father of soul once said “I got you (I feel good)”, perhaps the illiterate American should’ve said “I’ve got you (I feel well)”, I don’t know I’m no expert I still fail to understand “ob-la-di, ob-la-da” and “de do do do, de da da da” as some more illiterate Englishmen once said. Perhaps sure egregious floating of the laws of grammar should be reported somewhere. But ‘Whom are you going to call?”

1093 - number of times I’ve had to school people on grammar today.
