Thanks for the kind words, e.m.c! As for right now, I feel like machine learning would be much too advanced for me to implement in such a short timeframe, but I will be, at the very minimum, searching through text for how many messages each player posted, when said messages were posted, player mentions of other players, frequent words in text, and probably some form of sentiment analysis.
Aha, I see. Peterbot will definitely be rather helpful with that, yeah, considering it's got records for all of the games that matter for this. When you get stuff together, do let us know - will be looking forwards to learn what you find.

Frostwind posted while I was writing all that. Welcome Frost, that was a great entrance. You're cool in my book.

Okay. Reading all this garbage and piecing together all these morons is taking a lot out of me. I am going to go drink some pints. I will continue my evidence and data search shortly.

Well, not here, but I've attained some form of experience over other online mafia platforms (such as Town of Salem, if you have heard of it). I'm Gold rank (second highest) for ToS, so I've developed at least a little intuition of who might be scum. Plus, Diplomacy helps train that too hehe :smirk:
Heh, in that case, I'll be looking forwards to your non-aided reads as well, once you catch up.

Instinct! Gut feeling! Alll the fluttery emotional tingles one gets from a suspiciously worded post

“This is meaningless, but I think Jamie would have suited Jack's role perfectly.

No, I think Chaqa is pulling our leg and promoting Chipotle

I think Bob might be into gambling and chose that role to goof around

xorxes is very alert and this feels great, but more participation from various peeps is required.

I'm a bit disappointed in Bunny trying this new strategy of lurking. I have my own plan for Bunny Boy, which will be revealed later”

-Vapor, 10

Big truth about Jamiet being Jack da Rippa.

The rest of this content is questionable to me Vapor. You are a pretty shady person at the moment. Definitely a top 5 suspect.

“HELLO HELLO” pg 10

Oh god. Not this guy. Well, I am a Sage, and yes, I do accept the title of Holy God. LOL he pretty much monologued to himself a whole page. Welcome to the Einstein/Flav monologue club boyzz!

“chill dude, dont look too deeply into everyone's posts or your just going to go down a rabbit hole that will lead literally no where”

Yeah GUYS, just don’t look too deeply into anything, k? W.T.F? Seriously, Flav, wtf are you trying to say here? I think Flav’s further 11 assessment of potential Hyde interactions is possible though; probably likely due to the mystery controller. The person is probably a total derp knowing the people in this community.

“dropping this bomb right now because the thread is steamy:

I want for Hyde's puppeteer to be Durga”

Vaporwave, 11, WTF? Why would you even mention that unholy and foul name in my presence. I cast you into hell for your transgression. Ugh, trying to make me vomit thinking about how awful Drugna is at this game. It’s so refreshing not to have to think about her, play with her, interact with her. Literally the worst individual in the world and you want her to be involved in this game? Ugh, you are one sick freako dude

“. Good to see all the folks and new ones. My joke phase is over.”
No clue who Katel is, but anyone still on a ‘joke phase’ or ending it on Page 11 isn’t coming into this game with a full deck. What a nutter.

“why are you going to work at 3 30 am?”

A valid observation

Pages 10-11 done. Most of it was a few nutters and king crazy Flav typing to himself. Although few valid tidbits and morsels in there for the ole kitchen. Where the hell is that fishmonger Vekna. .
I like you.

I am not sure Dr. Jekyll is an asset. Maybe they should announce who they are so we can lynch them D1.
If I hadn't played 2 games with you already I'd be sure this was the scummiest post I've seen. Instead, I think you're just wrong.

Hello all. Go team Town!
But seriously, our we just going to lynch a random person? This is my first Mafia on this forum but it seems too quiet to make an informed decision?
Do you have a proposal how anyone can be informed D1? I just don't see it. Literally, I don't see any twitching when people lie. I mean, how can we know anything yet?

Raid night over. Another quick Ony + MC.

I find the J+H discussion interesting. Prior to any meaningful discussion I find myself in the claim and lynch camp, although maybe not D1.

So it seems there is an aggressively power scum team, and a utility powered scum team, then Hyde and Jack doing their shit.

Questions to open some discussion:

- Who does each player think is the more dangerous scum team on powers alone?

- What do people think of a Urchin claim D1? They would be able to confirm multiple roles at best, or hard force a power trade with scum team 1 at worst.

I find myself wary of rdr (Although I seem to always read him scum) over the mislabeling of the SK's wincon. I also don't like what I've seen of Bob so far. It's a shotgun of content spread with no intent or effect (And there were a lot of attempts in those few posts to be substantial)
Stop claiming town powers. Period. Don't do it.

Hmm although, maybe someone should translate Vecna's stuff if he keeps up flavour, would make it easier for those of us ESL
So I read a few things about British slang and phrases (current stuff more than Victorian) to try and add to the flavor and let me tell you, their version of English is its own monster compared to the American version.
Do me a lemon
Stop it.

That's either way too clever or it doesn't make sense.
Are xorxes, emc, and rdr a scum team all just publicly saying nothing for half this thread so that we think they're clever? Was there any content to their posts besides:

"I don't understand this"
'Isn't it like that?'
"Oh, you're clever"

"Oh I'm pocketing you"
'I'm pocketing you'

This is weak of me, but will drop town points on Bunny for that return post.

Although some points he brings up are NAI due to purpose of reasoning, imma cave since I want that sweet, sweet live thread action.

Dr. Chakyll’s Log: 23rd of November, 1888

“‘Twas a dark and stormy night. Or, that’s how I imagined it. Camped out in a bed that was not mine own, feeling ill and under the weather from illness and my sister’s cat, I began to hunger.

“The craving had returned. Only one thing on my mind: Chipotle.

“Day after day I made the journey. Using all the energy that remained, loaded up with cold and allergy meds, and braving the cold desolate wastes of Pennsylvania, I trekked to Elysium. For it was there I would find salvation.

“Rice! Beans! Chicken! Veggies and Mild! And the glorious cheese to top it off. They render unto me a meal fit for a king, at the price of a pauper! This all-curing tonic clears me out, and I attribute my recovery to it foremost.

“However, my indulgences have had a side effect. Deep deep within, a malevolent part of me is emerging, and there is little I can do to stop it. I have heard reports of a strange being running late at night, in my clothes, with my face, and when he goes to Chipotle, and they ask if I want guac, he says ‘yes!’

“I write this to inform the town we must do everything we can do stop this dastardly Mr. Syde (of guac)!”

TL:DR I’m Dr. Jekyll
God damn it....I mean, I knew this was coming as I've been reading along, but it was just as ::sick:: the second time I saw this. I really hope you're lying.

"stupid things + typos results in different interpretations"

I think Jack is dangerous to all.
Why? Seriously: the game will be over by their 3rd kill if they last that long.
Jeckle should probably not out... the doc is obvious useful. Hyde's killing is almost random. The hyde power is controlled by someone outside the game, who will be reading... but not interacting. So stat wise he'll hurt mafia as a whole more than town. (Each hit he might make there could be devestating.)
Agreed, in addition there's a chance Hyde saves us at the end with his invincibility.

Thank you for trying to translate.
I did read that Vecna was going to roleplay, but Vecna should probably be a bit more clearer.
You can roleplay without making no sense whatsoever.

##VOTE Vecna
Not against this vote :-) I love it when new players are assertive
I find new players always hating on Vecna's role playing for whatever reason, lmao.

Also, there's significantly less activity this time IMHO ##unvote
Agreed, I just hate on it for being a nothingburger.

And as for less activity? You miss me...I know you do...But I'm gone after this sprint. You do some activity.
