Mr Poole, the butler, had not seen his master, Dr Jekyll, for some hours. He was worried. His employer was a good man, but his habits had become increasingly strange, and lately, like this, he had been up at all hours, either coming and going without explanation, or working feverishly in his laboratory.

Suddenly, from the aforementioned room, Poole heard a loud crash, and the shattering of glass. He rushed to see what had happened.

A chill gust greeted the butler as he threw open the door. The window was open. That was strange. But there, a body!

Poole was shocked as he examined the corpse. It was Edward Hyde, Jekyll's unpleasant recent associate. But he was wearing Jekyll's clothes! The very clothes Poole had seen Jekyll wearing just hours before! Beside the body lay a letter in Jekyll's handwriting, unsigned, the ink still wet.

Poole picked up the letter. As he read its terrible contents, he turned pale.

"Oh no, master, this cannot be..."

Whichever one of you who is voting for me that is not one of purplecow's partners was not paying attention N4 when xorxes posted his concerns that I was not a VT. Any VT that was paying attention to what I posted N4 and D5 in response to xorxes would know that I am mechanically cleared as a VT. I did not want to gain an unfair advantage as a result of the VT PM not being posted in the game setup thread, but I do not want to lose the game by getting lynched at mylo when I should be considered cleared either.

Here is the key line from xorxes that I believe was a test embedded in his "Why bozo is not a VT" post:

bozo is not a MALE VT (if he had read MALE VT in his role PM, he would have known immediately there were also FEMALE VTs)

I knew the term "MALE VT" was not in the VT PM, since the information is conveyed in 2 separate lines: "You are a VANILLA TOWN" and "You are MALE." However, rather than be in violation of the spirit of the rules by quoting the VT PM, since it was left out of the game setup post, I asked a GM question about quoting the PM. The GM response was to post VT PM so that it was public information. The fact that I knew why the VT PM was posted and that I immediately pointed it out to xorxes should have been enough to clear me. In addition, the GM post with the VT PM included some errors, which I decided not to point out so that I would not be gaming the PMs, but xorxes and Chaqa brought it up and discussed it to clear themselves. The fact that I acknowledge the error they were talking about even though I avoided referencing it directly should also have been enough to clear me to the other VTs. Finally, just in case these thing are too subtle for the VT voting for me, I have included additional information in this post that should make it obvious to the other VTs that I am a VT.

I was trying to stay clear of this subject, but it is now obvious that purplecow's partners were setting me up for the game winning lynch, and I am not going to get lynched to lose the game while avoiding the issue just because the mafia will claim it was unfair if they lose.

I am fairly certain ND and Tom understood what was going on, and were not comfortable with it being openly discussed, because they both ignored the VT PM discussion, but never doubted I was town after that incident.

Also, to those who are town who have not voted yet, which is probably all of you who have not voted, I think it should be apparent that purplecow and his teammates are going all in on getting me lynched today to win, unaware of how I demonstrated N4 that I am a VT.

Make an argument with other things why you are a Male VT, and NOT purplecow

That's a terrible idea if you ask me, but once someone told me that we should always leave it to the LyLo when it's MyLo.
