I tend to lean town v town now for this Balki/MLQ interaction and I am not seeing it going in a productive direction. I'm back to

Vote Count with 4 minutes left D1

"Day One Vote Count 5.1

ND (6): snowy801, bozotheclown, Rjmcf, Foxcastle, thamrick, Balki Bartokomous
Balki Bartokomous (5): MeanLaQueefa, yavuzovic, Maniac, VashtaNeurotic, Jamiet99uk
Jamiet99uk (4): , DemonRHK,brainbomb, ND, rdrivera2005
DemonRHK (2): Tom Bombadil, Ezio
Ezio (1): reedeer1
brainbomb (1): bo_sox48
yavuzovic (1): dargorygel

Not voted (1): SuperSteve

Currently ND is set to be lynched. You have 6 minutes remaining."

With 4 minutes left!

redeer then votes Jamie to put him into a tie for second place. We now know that ND was town. redeer could have easily voted ND after saying that he didn't have strong feelings about any of the wagons. (He did say earlier he thought ND might be town. Which is interesting because that means that if reedeer is scum, Balki is almost certainly scum and reedeer bussed the less powerful scumrole. I still think its likelier that reedeer is town though.

Also interesting to remember that Jamie is voting Balki and not ND (Confirmed town). I'd be interested to hear how this does not make Balki look quite towny.
+1

Reedeer had a ton of flexibility with this vote. His vote on Jamiet here, on Day 1, is extremely strong evidence that Reedeer is Town. Pretty sure Reedeer is Town.

Ha, yeah I'm the one being insincere and smearing people, it is all fake news.

That's it though balki, you didn't act like you've been in the first interaction with demon, now it seems like you were trying to act differently on purpose. You probably changed strategies since I've been pushing you on it since day 1. Once more, you were being coy by acting nicely to demon while doing actions that secretly greased the wheels of his wagon. This isn't an either or, it is both, and it makes complete sense. The way you try to empathize with demon in that quote you posted, you certainly haven't done that much sense.

@MLQ - first and foremost, have a safe drive. No rush to respond.

When you get back, can you answer this - how would RHK flipping scum change your interpretation of Balki? I get it. You are convinced RHK is town. That's fine. Humor me in this alternate reality I live in.

Also, looking at that vote count, rdrivera does not look quite as town as I initially thought. He is on the Jamie wagon, but at the time, ND has two more votes and Balki has one more. And Jamie had the possibility of going on ND (though he didn't for some reason). rdrivera could have thought that an apt time to bus, and is a confident enough scum player to do so.

@Tham, I had just pulled up Balki and Mean to read together when they pulled the pins on their Grenades of Righteous Accusation, and I got distracted. I am inclined to think they are hardcore town-on-towning at this point.

@Tham, oh, reading is fundamental... My case on Meme is that Darg looked kinda scummy to me and that lurkers suck. It's a pressure vote that I don't expect to keep. But if what everyone says is true about his ability to lurk his way to the win for whichever team he is... I'd prefer to deal with that before LyLo...

Also, considering all these people want to scumread reedeer seems lazy considering it took me five seconds to look at the d1 vote and nobody mentioned that once.

seems like scum trying to find an easy lurker mislynch. I don't like it.

Good catch, Tom. When I had considered his D1 votes, I had misread the peterbot, since both Rdrivera's and Balki's vote come at the 5 minute mark, and they are out of order. I was giving Rdrivera more credit than he was due for it.

Excuse me? Nobody mentioned it once?

*Clears throat:

Balki on Night 1:
Also, Reedeer1 is likely town, saved by his tide-turning Jamiet vote.
Balki on Day 2:
Read EOD1 and you will not suspect Reedeer. Reedeer has got to be Town.
Balki on Day 3:
Reedeer had flexibility in his reads to be on either wagon. Still, he cast the deciding vote on Jamiet very near the wire. I do not believe Scum Reedeer would have voted that way. You can't tell this using the bot. You have to go back and read the EOD.
Balki on Day 4:
Reedeer had a ton of flexibility with this vote. His vote on Jamiet here, on Day 1, is extremely strong evidence that Reedeer is Town. Pretty sure Reedeer is Town.

You guys cannot rely on the peterbot for vote analysis in the final hour of the day. And it's not that hard to go read the actual pages of the thread to see it all in context. This is very important.

I was saying those people who are voting or scumreading reedeer are suspicious for doing so without doing basic vote analysis because they haven't mentioned this fact. It feels to me like scum trying to find an opportunistic lynch in a field of strong town looking people.

Last I checked, you weren't scumreading reedeer. This comment was directed at those scumreading reedeer. Not everything is about you Balki :)

Tom N1:

"How do you think reedeer is scum based on his vote for Jamie with three minutes left? I don't undestand. He is probably my strongest townread."

I've been shouting it since N1 too Balki. And now that we know ND was town, it makes the D1 vote analysis even more meaningful. I need to collect all these folks saying reedeer is a scumread and see how genuine they actually are - because I think scum is there trying to get a mislynch of a lurker.
