Bryson Fishbach: I suppose not a single damn one of you lot knows how to do a half hitch or bowline knot. And I also suppose that means not a one of you can sail. You look like a bunch of Aristocrats and Soldiers. Your ship has no captain.
And I offer you my services.
I come from a small island called Gulls Hollow. On my island every boy and girl learns how to sail. You live off the sea, because the land is bare. My island has puffins, and rocks. We dont have rivers, or royal banquets. Were salty people and thats how we love.
(adjusts moustache as it slips slightly)

For you people in need of a captain. I am your man. Ive been sailing my whole life. Ill be 30 next month, and it would do my island great honor to join this fabulous ship. I must confess ive never sailed anything this big before but that should be no issue.

What a stunning ship.

(Hiring Bryson would fill one of your slots for specialists. You do not currently have a ships captain)
(Add this to your voting decisions)

Commander Haymarket: Ah, I know of Gulls Hollow. Some of her majesty Regina's most renowned and decorated sailors have come from there. Ive never heard of this Bryson person. Hmmmm

Sister Wendy Killibrew:
As a sister of the nunnery ive served Hollish for 3 generations. I would like to join your mission and form a convent for the women who need lordly guidance. We would create an orphanage, and a school at the colony which would not cost the colony money. In strict observance of the faith I see you have Godly men in father Fleming and Commander Haymarket. I would be honored to also join this colony and help to fight back against the growing masses of people choosing immoral ways of life.

I can provide you full support of the Sisters of Hollish, and additional Church financing.

(Sister Wendy fills a specialist slot. You may only hire 2 total)
(please include her in your voting)

Woverley Astamine:
I wish I wouldnt have waited so long. Im sure youve hired on everyone you need. I will submit my name for consideration of course too. My name is Woverly. Im the executioners son. I know. Terrible.
Not a great life. I face consistent ridicule in my life trying to make a name for myself. My talent is that im a Blacksmith. I make weaponry. I make guns, rifles, bayonetts, swords, breastplates, gloves. Everything. If you get me Iron or Bronze I can do almost anything with it. Ive never sailed before but I can learn of course.

I have no wife and no children. No woman wants to marry the Executioners son.

I hope youll consider me as a candidate to add to the mission.

(Please include Woverly as an option in your voting)
(Hiring Woverly fills a specialist slot. You may only hire 2)

Status of laws:

Prop 0.1.1 - Name the ship - ship (Father Fleming, Jayne)
Prop 0.1.2 - Name the ship - The Queen Regina (Kelsin)

Currently, we are set to give our ship the name "ship"

Prop 0.2.1 - Bring the following: Seeds, Dried Meats, Oxen, Weapons, Gunpowder, Gold
Prop 0.2.2 - Bring the following: Rabbits, Oxen, Weapons, Gunpowder, Iron, Gold (Jayne)
Prop 0.2.3 - Bring the following: Rabbits, Oxen, Seeds, Iron, Gold, Spices (Kelsin, Father Fleming)

Currently, we are set to bring Rabbits, Oxen, Seeds, Iron, Gold, Spices

I am restructuring 3 so that each option is a different specialist, we get 2.

Prop 0.3.1 - Allow Nari to Join (Kelsin, Father Fleming, Jayne)
Prop 0.3.2 - Allow Bryson to Join (Kelsin)
Prop 0.3.3 - Allow Sister Wendy to Join
Prop 0.3.4 - Allow Woverley to Join

Currently, we are set to bring Nari with us. We need at least two votes on a second specialist to hire them.

##Vote Yea on 0.3.2 - we need a good captain

Queen Regina: :zultar: :oldforum:

Oh Gosh, youre considering naming the ship after me? My people are so cute. I have lovely people truly. I want you to know that we have avoided war with Lithgopp. I believe we have averted future hostility by selling them Gulls Hollow and Ive formally apologized for the attacks. Their representatibe believes that giving them the cove will suffice. The citizens of this Gulls Hollow land will be relocated in a year to your colony.
With larger aims in mind, we do not need to hold onto territories we have little left to gain from. On the one hand this means the citizens will be displaced. And this is an ancestral home. On the other hand they will be living in much richer lands, where they will have a better life, and it is my reward to them for their service.

To you Bryson of Gulls Hollow. I do not know of your story and I would love to hear it. Please join me at the Castle and we should talk about your service, and your life story.

We do need a captain, that sounds like something we need to not die.
Father Fleming: As much as I would love to invite a sister in the faith, we do no good if we crash before we get there, and sister Wendy doesn't know how to sail. I would feel so comfortable, knowing we have a strong man at the helm

Considering we have far more space for councilors than specialists, it seems like an awful waste to fill one precious specialist slot with a captain. Worst comes to worst, we'll keep this ship afloat between ourselves. Can't be too difficult, can it?
On the other hand, a blacksmith would give us a great headstart in setting up our own industry at the destination.

## Vote Yea on Prop 0.3.4

My name is Myles Abernathy, and I am a hunter, sent to help start this sorry colony.

I vote

##Vote Prop 0.1.2 - Name the ship - The Queen Regina

I think having our queens favor will be good for us.

##Vote Prop 0.2.3 - Bring the following: Rabbits, Oxen, Seeds, Iron, Gold, Spices

This one seems the best.

##Vote Prop 0.3.1 - Allow Nari to Join

She will be beneficial, ill vouch for her.

##Vote Vote on Prop 0.3.4

A blacksmith will be what we need to gain the next step as a colony. I think a blacksmith will serve us better than a captain or a nun would be able to. we have a soldier. I hope he knows how to sail for us.

(wow, i have been trying to write this for days, but with how formal i feel it needs to be, it took me a while. Ill post much more on discord if you need me, just ping me there)

Loper Taggart: Ive been with Pike Bay for 26 years. Ill be 58 next month. Ive seen my share of adventure. My hope is that this will be my last mission, for my sake and of course for my wife Tawny. Our children are all grown up now and have families of their own.
These scars are from bear attacks, coyotes, and barracudas. So yea, ive for sure seen my share of snarling beasts. The greatest moment of my life up to this point was getting to hold my grandson and seeing his tiny little hands and his big happy face.
I wanna come home in one peice and retire peacefully. War is awful and as long as the Pike Bay Company is part of your colony I swear I will do everything I can to keep us from any kinds of problems. Ive fought in a few ugly trade wars and I can tell you that negotiation is a pivotal aspect of survival out there.
When it comes to treacherous Pirates there isnt much room to negotiate. Pirates fear Commander Haymarket because hes an ask questions later type. He doesnt tolerate Piracy of any kind. If you decide to get yourself into any mischeif be very careful how deep you get and be sure you never cross Haymarket.

A few of his rules that you should be aware of while on his ships.
1. No drinking. Haymarket will warn you once after that its gallows or worse.
2. No cursing. for whatever reason the old goat has zero tolerance for foul language.
3. No same sex relations
4. No women will be on deck at any time
5. When at the colony, a strict observance of Hollish customs must be followed, including daily prayers and no business or policy discussions on every 4th day of the week. (There will be no policy discussions on Saturdays during the day.)

Commander Haymarket: Today is the sabbath. This is your first and only warning Myles. There shall be no work on saturdays.
