Nice try to HR and kgray to attempt to save it, but the damage was already done by that point and you almost pulled the game back, but in the end Flum let the scum hammer Nan :(

Meh, I probably should have tried it a day earlier, but I basically checked out after Maniac's suicide because I thought it was game over. Perhaps if I'd gone and analysed Bozo immediately, we could have avoided the EMC death because it really made no sense whatsoever for Bozo to lead that kill if EMC were scum, but by the time I came back and put the effort in everyone had already voted and left.

Then again it's very difficult to keep motivation in games where you have to be silent at night - I think that was a massive boost for the scum team. Even town players who started out active became less and less present as the game went on.

Maybe Nanook shouldn't have pissed off someone who already lost and was playing kingmaker. If he put in a modicum of effort at all the entire game instead of saying everyone in this game sucks I wouldn't have voted him despite still kind of townreading him.

Yeah, I'd agree that the night talking really benefited us.

I was pretty annoyed when it seemed like we were going to lose to Flum's kingmaking, so I feel similarly underwhelmed by winning to it, but I do feel like we played a pretty solid game for most of it.

Ugh. GG scum.

Yeah I made a mistake jailing Flum. I waited for so long to use the killing part of my role because I knew the bomb would protect me so there was no rush, but by N7 I really should have tried to kill mafia.

I think this jailor role wasn't ideal because of the dead nights. It was fun for me even though I don't think I played it very well - except for finding HR, which I think was a huge benefit but still wasn't enough in the end. But overall the role is probably detrimental to the game.

Thanks GMs!

I feel like blaming Nanook entirely really overlooks the string of similar garbage that came before him (Maniac's suicide in particular, but emc and flash put about as much effort into surviving as Nanook did too). We had a quarter of the town openly calling for/accepting without defence their own deaths at one point or another...

Yeah. I'm quite forgiving of bad town play because we all mess up.
Bunny played really badly this game, but he's still someone I consider a good player and hold nothing against him.
I honestly am still in shock of Maniac suiciding and don't get it, but I still love Maniac so w/e
It was more Nanook's indignant attitude throughout the whole game on top of shading the entire community that drew the line for me. Please don't play here again Nanook.

I genuinely think we played that well. We lost our item thief right off the bat, my role was beyond worthless, the jailer could confirm PR's secretly, and we had to waste our nk's on some usual miskill choices. I'm pretty proud of that performance.

GG team, and gg all. Thanks GM's, I did have fun, even though I hate being scum, day chat and an awesome team made it fun.

There were worse players than nook I think it's unfair to be so rude to him.

I mean the great irony is that we had all these townies just openly accepting their deaths, and the one role that should have done that did the complete opposite

I am not sure exactly what Maniac was doing, but if he had changed his vote back seconds earlier he would have forced a tie. Also, he may have assumed he would be the DK D7 if not D6 and thought it was better to be resolved D6. Either way I do not think what he did should be considered game throwing.

Yeah I think town did pretty poorly overall, but I also can't take away from your team. You guys did well, and tbh I wish I'd rolled traitor lol

You were my guess for traitor D1.

Yeah town really made things tough on ourselves. Congrats to scum on pulling off the heavy buss on summit.

Yes, Nanook can be a good player. He was awesome in the matrix game.

I would honestly never have gone after summit that hard, especially with Vecna saying we could wait on him.

I do not usually like to bus that way, but it was obvious that summit would not survive past D2 at best, and it seemed like a case where it was worth it to be on the "right" side of the DK.

The real loser of this game was Flum for getting so utterly fucked by his role draw

For real.

All games should either be full vanilla or role madness.
