Why do one of us have to be scum?

If mice were all town, the game balance would be heavily scum-sided. I don't see much use of being a mouse. It has to be. I know I am town. So one of them has to be.

chomps has pointed out that voting out a mouse could be a bad idea if one is scum since the other could be nked and the get the poison

although if that happens i think you just get rid of the remaining mouse d2 before they can use it

They didn't try for one of the mice. I think the possibility of killing scum mouse outweighs the risk of killing a town mouse. Town mouse has little power. Scum mouse has a lot.

I see what you mean, but the roles and alignments were rolled randomly I believe, so this is not really a strong argument
