As the concerned toons tried to corner their suspect, he proved surprisingly difficult to get hold of.

"¡Andale! ¡Andale! ¡Arriba!" he squealed as he whizzed past their clutches.

"N'uhhh, he's tryin' to escape. Dat jus' makes him more guilty, uh-huh" said one as the toons stretched a large net across the street just as their suspect came back in that direction.

"¡Andale! I'll put my own head in your stupid noose" he joked as they desperately flailed in his direction.

"He's too fast, someone grab a net or something!"

"¡Arriba! ¡Yii-hah!" he exclaimed as he sped back into the shot.

There was an audible sigh of relief as he whirled his way into the net and they quickly bashed him with an absurdly large mallet. But the toons' relief was short lived.

Maniac is dead - he was Speedy Gonzales, the Vanilla Toon.
