What is this stuff that keeps appearing to be like code or gibberish? Yavu and Dip have at least posted it and I have no idea what it is supposed to be.

People keep referring to hashes? Unless we are talking about the drugs or the potatoes, I’m unclear what’s being referenced here.

Bunny and Butters seem to be having an entertaining beef. I have a very tough time with Bunny. He seems less gimicky and high energy than I am used to. But I tend to always be suspicious of him. Butters, I have appreciated your explanations and reasonings and am currently town reading you.

Very suspicious of people who say something and then leave for forever. So Dip, Chomps…. They’re on my radar for that.

Yavu is my biggest scum read at the moment. I don’t get the hard push on Mimi. Encouraging us all to vote for her without being able to share much else seems super sus imo.

Bona is funny, I liked the cricket joke and the fact that he rarely gets anyone’s names correct.
I can't claim to have a villager read on Chomps, but I will say that "saying something and then vanishing" is absolutely their playstyle in both villager and wolf alignments. They're tough to read, especially in flipless and if they don't die we'll probably shrug yeet them on day 3 or 4, just based upon history.

Well, it’s nice to meet you! And I’m glad you came out here! We’re all nuts in our own ways, but mostly get along. And when we don’t we have a very good group of mediators to smooth things over. They’re insane too, but charming.

I’m Bunny! A fairly outgoing mathematician (unlike my advisor, I look at OTHER PEOPLE’S shoes while talking). I like this game because I get a chance to listen to people who never ever think like me and try to figure out if that means they’re scummy or towny, while also trying to be helpful for them reading me (without doing stuff that ruins the game like having reserved phrases or actions).

Used to be a serious amateur bridge player. A decent but not exceptional gunboat diplomacy player, and mostly just enjoy talking and listening to people.
It is nice to meet you as well. I really enjoy bridge but only know a few bidding conventions and love to overbid (if I can justify bidding game, I'm doing it--part scores are for wolves and mafiosos) so I drive most serious players crazy. But playing as the declarer is some of the most fun there is in card games, I think-- a lovely balance of revealed and unrevealed information to work with.

Why did you give it up? Decided to hunt wolves and conquer the world on the internet instead?
Life…I ended up with young kids living in Maine.

I went from being a solid player in contention (but not the favorite) of winning various regional tournaments (and once winning the flight C Grand National Teams and making it to the finals of the National Fast Pairs) to top 5 player in the area—without getting any better.

So the game is less interesting, the old folks around here only have games during business hours, I don’t have good regular partners to practice with, and I’m less willing and able to travel to more serious and interesting events.

As for your “overbidding”: down 1 is good bridge.

But I’ll say, getting good at defense: where you don’t just have the hidden and unhidden information to deal with, but a partner who knows stuff you don’t to coordinate with is great fun and one of the hardest parts of the game. And not unlike two town players circling each other trying to figure out who needs to know what and whether to trust their instincts.

Solid intel.

Around here we often yeet lurkers early so they don’t make it to KiLo (Kill scum or Lose). But we also usually give lurkers a chance to show up and participate before doing that.

I also can’t remember the last time we played flipless…

That's indeed a possibility. I think at least one of them most likely is. I am not.
purely statistically? or do you have a slight scum read on both of us?
Statistically and intuition. But you not outting the mouse is actually good. I think it is also safe if you decide to join me on the third one, maybe more convincing for the rest?
i still don't think we should out #3 quite yet, maybe later in the day but i do think, if we both are town (i generally tr you atm), we should only out them if either of us strongly scum reads them

##vote Diploma Cyan Dwarf Are

dw's brazenness here feels a bit like he's trying to emulate his town play. like he does have the whole reaction test thing but it doesn't really feel like he's going anywhere with it; in his town games that i've experienced he has an obvious direction to his tunnels and sticks with them, but in his scum game he kind of just moved around before settling on someone to go after. overall i just don't think he's being genuine in his posts abt jamie but idk
So your argument is that since I'm not aggressively tunnneling, I must be scum?
this is like that one game I don't have time to find right now
eh
ill find it later if I don't get shitpushed to death
not exactly

ig that's part of it but mainly it just feels like you're tunneling but who you're tunneling rotates until you find a target. it's reminiscent imo of your scum game in 92 where you felt around before you pushed red but idk. not like this is a strong read, i'm just moving around and seeing what happens.

a bit worried that will hasn't posted in a day especially given how good he often is at solving if he's town and the fact that (possibly coincidentally) his absence is reminiscent of his scum game in 1035

Vote Tally 1.4

In the late hours of the day Lord Dumel finally awoke. He looked out the windows after opening the curtains. Dust blinded him and he stared out into the misty drizzle. Hunters had returned with ducks from their hunt, donning furs. The bearded hunter slapped the other on the back and laughed. Dumel was emotioless and stared at his bandages.

You did start off the game by bussing him ;)

But seriously, I'm happy moving to D&W also, but will stay on Just for a bit.

An Iguana from Lord Dumels excursions in the Amazon would occasionally lounge in the Dining hall waiting for scraps. Scrappers they called him. It gave the maid a scare one afternoon when she mistook him for an umbrella.

this eod set of wagons is sort of fake because bongo is not staying on will, and jamie and mimi are not around (?) to push DaW, so i fear that we're going to lumber into just killing yavu for no strong reason without any thought
