What do you think will be different tomorrow? We'll have Xorxes dead, because at least one scum team is going to target him, and no doctor will (Chaq already said 1 of them won't). We'll have 3 dead bodies. And then what? Wait around for this gang war to continue and sit at home like demur little victorians and hope the scum off each other or the detective gets lucky?
Mostly because scum are legitimately scum hunting too so they're hard to distinguish. Just because I didn't vote for that scum doesn't mean I'm scummy, I just didn't scum read them. And just because I led the wagon on a different scum didn't mean we agreed in scum chat to try, it meant I legitimately found someone from the other team. So there's much less intel from wagons.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 10:08 amI am missing something here. Why a no-lynch is better on this setup? Sure there could be Mafia deaths at night, but we still need to get info from lynches (and hopefully catch scum) so we can get Mafia (or 3P) later. Or we just sit and wait for Mafia, Jack and Hyde to kill themselves? We won't even know who killed who.
There are people who you should judge their language choices closely, Vapor is not one of them.xorxes wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:06 pmThe odd part is he said "that he needs to kill those ladies with his own knife" which are pretty much the same words used in Jack's role description. That makes him a good suspect for Jack. Why would you be reading him as Jekyll?
If we don't lynch today we won't have much to base our votes on D2 either. Will we then vote no-lynch again because there will be three kills N3 and they all will have a chance of hitting scum? And then again the same D3. So you're basically advocating for letting scum make all the decisions and hope they kill each other before they kill town? At least until Holmes gets lucky?Chaqa wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 4:07 amI can't believe I'm going to advocate this - having been a victim of the first-ever WebDip Mafia lynch for supporting it - but in this SPECIFIC setup, I think a Day 1 no-lynch may actually be a not-terrible idea.
We're going to have three deaths tonight. All of the deaths have a chance of hitting mafia, whereas in a vanilla game, zero (or maybe one if SK) do. Temasek may be on to something for suggesting no-lynch, and I'm giving him SERIOUS towncred for bringing it up.
So for now...
##Vote no-lynch
And also, +1337 towncred to Tem.
Exactly. Except I resent the veiled threat.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:13 pmWhat do you think will be different tomorrow? That said, sitting home and hoping the different teams off each other seems like town already lost their best asset for that line of play (stupid Chaq outing our side's killer)
Vapor made a huge blunder in the first attempt of the meme game by not reading the publicly available role descriptions. I don't put it past him that he made a similar blunder this game. I think he's probably town, but I have a "he could very well be Jack the Ripper" based on that wording in the back of my mind.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:17 pmThere are people who you should judge their language choices closely, Vapor is not one of them.
Also, I made it very clear what I thought of the rest of your posts too. I see you Xorxes. I just don't like what I see.
Not a threat. There was a reason Dargo knew to drive you last game. You're a very likely target.xorxes wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:22 pmExactly. I also explained how Jeckyl is our endgame savior if we get into a shootout and have only a couple people left in a close game. And Hyde very well may be forced to play for a draw there.xorxes wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:25 pmHyde is not on town's side...BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:16 pmMostly because scum are legitimately scum hunting too so they're hard to distinguish. Or is it more of a stakeout and they are both masters of disguise?
Here’s another cookie dargo. You are my favorite town read right now. Fighting for first post. Articulating my thoughts. Not saying useless garbage to make it seem like you have something to say. You’re the best! Enough I’m going to sheep you because juuuuust maybe foxy (Kitsune) is actually busy.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:12 pmProbably won't be on today.
ItsHosuke came on with adequate attention, so I'll remove my vote.
We do need to lynch someone today, a no-lynch is, as usual, less than stellar.
No, statistically we won't hit scum today.
But the value is not jUST hitting scum. But towards end of game every vote or not vote is valuable data. Missing out this time because we might hit an inno is short term thinking.
We have four groups looking to kill someone. Once who those four groups actually are becomes known, we can draw connections that just might help, yes?
Also... in a strange way, maybe every lynch reduces Jack's chances. We might get lucky and lynch a woman.
This D1 is even more difficult than most D1s. Too many hunters. And too many hiders.
I don't have any clear scumreads. Most of my gut scum reads at this point are from lack of posting. Which probably isn't really NAI. (although every scum team seems to have a lurker... so does every town team.)
So this morning I am voting for a gut reaction. Honestly, that's what most of you are doing, too. Y'all just articulate your gut reactions more articulately.
Bob seems nervous to me.
