Why?

Because only one role could be both unclaimed and out of their list.

Jamiet was the last one to claim, so he had three choices: Oracle, DP and Absorber. If he is town, he claimed his true role and one of DP and Absorber was discarded by scum. If he is scum, he could have chosen Oracle even if it wasn't in their list, and then both DP and Absorber would have been on the list. Or Oracle could have been on the list with one of DP and Absorber.

I think my question was quite clear, and based on the first sentence of this two sentence post I think you have an accurate understanding. The big post toward the bottom of the page a few pages back, probably no more than 10.
