Re: 20 Questions (Round 587)
I suppose it's either cutting the birth range in half or trying to hunt for a scientific specialty; I'll go for the easier one...
Born after 1810?

You are correct!Aristocrat wrote: ↑Sat Jun 28, 2025 4:54 pmWell I'll get a free guess in before 20 gets answered - Sigmund Freud
Sorry for the mild birthplace trap (I wasn't intending this round to be challenging) but you got there in the end.

Re: 20 Questions (Round 587)
Nice game, I was very surprised when he didn't show up on the list of previous picks since it seems like someone who would have been picked long ago. The langauge/birthplace issue is always a bit challenging although it helps turn super well known picks like Freud into better candidates since it makes the game a bit harder. Much appreciated.
I will try to get a new game up sometime soon.

I brushed the thought of him aside because I was sure he was Austrian.
Technically he was, not not within the exact parameters of the question about Austria asked in this game.

Good game, everyone! I was going to guess Alexander von Humboldt, until we established that the subject was born outside of modern Germany. Then I was stumped!
My username, and most of my posts made before 2020, are ironic.
