As I said the game can continue with extra questions (so feel free to guess again, Hom). The pick I guess was more tricky than anticipated but this person did achieve some then-notable amount of mainstream fame outside their niche.
I don’t want to hold this up all weekend so if it is still unsolved around noon PT I will give a more substantive clue that likely solves it for the more hardcore players.

Yes ; no. Since all the other rules are broken if you want to go for a 3rd in a row, I guess that’s ok.
As mentioned, this person achieved a notable amount of crossover fame (particularly for her niche), including appearances on numerous mainstream films and tv shows, and a NY Times best seller.

All right! I knew all those hours of misspent youth would pay off some day.
I'm out tonight so I'll give everyone the rest of the day off and start the next game tomorrow morning.
