I assumed that was an error, because I can see no way that town would make this kind of statement.

The queue snaked forward with an interminably slow, stuttering shuffle, as the snow fell steadily.

A guard paced slowly up and down the line. In a slow, gravelly, not-particularly-interested voice, he intoned a series of brief warnings.

"Have papers ready. Forged documents will be confiscated. Entry not guaranteed. Suspected terrorists will be detained."

One entrant had heard these lines so many times it was making them twitch. They had been trying to enter Artstotzka since the day the checkpoint opened. Standing in line for so many hours, sent back from the booth three times to the back of the line, for extremely minor infractions, their patience had been frayed to the point of madness.

"Okay! Enough! I wait here four days and nights! It is too much! To hell with you! I am terrorist! My papers are all forged! I forge them myself! Hahahaha!"

The guard turned around.

"Oh really. A confession. Ha. Ok. I get bonus for this."

He dragged the entrant away to the cells.

An old woman in the line muttered:

"Eh. I don't think that was real terrorist. Just crazy person."
