@damo, if you are town we can't end the day on 3-2. If brain is scum he can vote for someone else to make it 2-2 and we lose, so all of town has to be voting together at EOD. I am pretty certain she has to be scum of some sort based off yesterday's antics with the end vote. With her being the only one not here, I'd expected any pair not including her would've pulled the trigger on ending the game somehow with end votes.

The rest of her play - being distant and mostly responding with non-answers while not really pushing anything is what I think a new scum player would be inclined to do. The only new people I recall (without digging into the bot) who rolled scum right away were Vaporwave and Hosuke. Vaporwave rolled over when he was the last scum and Hosuke got caught pretty quickly in a game. Again, no research just off the top of my head because the bot being blocked on my work PC really screws over out of game analysis...

FWIW - scum!brain could have just done that end thing knowing it would mess with us. It is incredibly blatant and dumb as scum to draw attention to yourself, but again - IT'S BRAIN! He does whatever he wants without recourse.

damo leans more towards brain. He is basing this mostly on sarah's vote for BB. I think this is slightly flawed because sarah could easily move her vote still, so it is possible she is bussing intentionally until she moves to a towny at a key time.

I've always considered brain and indirect communicator - he puts it out there for people to read, if you want it, instead of going directly into questioning someone in depth, like what bozo does.

He spews thoughts and opinions - I think this is why he says me and him are similar because I feel like I do the same.

You've talked to me (and to others) quite a bit this game, questions and answers, explanations, back and forth, you engage with what others are saying, I don't feel like you just throw comments into the air.

I actually often post my opinions on questions directed at other people while rereading. I force engagement and communication through that intentionally so that you understand my line of thought, however poor it may turn out to be sometimes.

@xorxes - so I am thinking you believe scum to be brain-sarah. Are you confident in this assessment? What doubts might you have about it?

Not if brain is scum.

And even if it was you and damo, trying to pull something off would have been extremely risky. If you voted end and brain unended before damo voted end, or viceversa, you were both exposed.

So I don't think this is a particularly strong argument against Sarah.

Because you are not talking to one another! If you think the other is town, you have to reach a consensus before EOD. Even if you are not sure, you have to assume they are and try to reach a consensus. If all three town are not on the same wagon we lose, so the only way you can be comfortable with the current state of affairs is if you think damo is scum.

That's where I'm at, yes. I am full of doubts. damo's D4 votes look bad on the vote tracker, but when I reread the sequence in the thread I found it more acceptable. I reread your ISO and found some reactions and some connections with Jamie that I thought unlikely if you were scum. But I'm far from certain, because everything can be twisted to look fake as well.

This worries me greatly because I read it as him being content where his vote is. If he was town, I would be worried if I wasn't on the leading wagon.

The only person I remember behaving this contently is ND when Bo and myself were his other town people and he was on his own wagon/belief and wouldn't move. And damo is no where close to the same players as ND...

It doesn't need to be resolved immediately, but the conversation needs to happen and it was not happening. If we leave it to the last ten minutes we're bound to get it wrong.
