Why are you assuming an unknowing town bona playing suboptimally isn't an option?

I don't see town!Bona being so flagrantly scummy after last game is unlikely. I think Bona would try harder to be townier. Blatantly calling out Jamie as lying about a PR claim here is not what I'd expect town!Bona to do.

That said, my Jamie read was probably wrong. But I understand now why he's focusing on the alien.

I haven't played with Bona, but do you think he's a sensible enough player that it's actually his scum persona that would be more careful to not be so flagrantly scummy?

As town, he has an incentive to be bold about pressing what he thinks is clearly a caught scum. As scum, he has an incentive to not draw attention to himself until he can be more sure of pressing his mis-kill successfully...

he didnt back down last game as scum despite being told he was wrong and knowing he was wrong

The only two reasons I can conceive of Bona declaring this is:

1) Bona is the alien investigator but doesn't want to CC for some reason

2) Bona is the alien

And since Jamie has probably scanned me, I'll save him the time and say the DNA will be NOT an alien's DNA.

Tinfoil theory: Is it possible the Jailor has a Satellite Phone and EMC said something in the Phone QT that made the Jailor think EMC was something more useful than a VT?
