Has this person ever held a political office?
If yes: Joe Biden

20 questions in general clarification: Suppose I am QM and want to pick an entity that has an unclear birthday, but before, say 1 AD for sure. Should I "pass" if someone asks born before 1800, because I don't know when they were born, or say "yes" until I really am not sure about birthday?

You would say "yes" if they were definitely born before 1800. For example, when someone asked me if Attila the Hun was born after 700, I said "no". If someone had asked me if he was born after 405, I would have passed.

Has this person ever served (formerly or currently) in the US Congress, Canadian parliament, UK parliament, or Irish parliament (which I just found out is called the Oireachtas)?

Well, we at least have a finite number of people now, but it's a very large number of people.

Current member of US House or Senate?

So, I take it Boris Johnson is correct? We forgot to ask if he was born in New York City.

If so, next thread will be up in the morning (Eastern US).

In any case, I did choose a politician, born in New York City before 1967, who is a former head of government of a major English-speaking country, who pursued an pugnaciously isolationist foreign policy while serving in a right-wing government.

Yep! I was looking forward to seeing how many questions it would take you, once you figured out he was a politician born in the US, to ask if he was a politician *in* the US.

Nice guess! Should’ve tried for a yes conditional myself but I didn’t realize BoJo was old enough to qualify
