my main eod takeaways / questions:

- I think the way the EOD developed, as well as how he acted at EOD, is pretty town-indicative for Maniac. Scum were clearly at least comfortable with him in the lead. Additionally, he townread his main counterwagon and tried to start a new wagon before jumping back onto bona when it didn't gain traction, which seems consistent and not particularly interested in self-preservation.

- imo Kak is the most likely EOD wagon to actually have been scum. There was some vocal resistance to the wagon that seemed normal, but it was interesting that there wasn't as much interest in kak as a daykill in general compared to maniac, as I feel like there were similar lack of contribution arguments to be made for both of them. I'm especially interested in kak opinions/reads from TFB, whose response to the kakwagon was to pitch him as a teammate of sabi's and then otherwise ignore the wagon, and pyxxy, who was at least +1ing stuff at EOD and seemed to suspect maniac for not caring as much. I think they (and also sabi) could be plausible teammates if kak flips scum.

- for all the blatant self-preservation yesterday, damo didn't seem especially interested in doing it today? He tries to flash kak before moving onto the second cw (bona) over aaro at basically EOD. Don't think it's indicative of alignment so much as how threatened he felt. @damo - you mentioned that you'd prefer bona over kak at around ten hours before EOD; how did your read on them evolve between then and you trying to flash kak?

- @sabi - did you specifically vote bona just because he tied the vote, or was there some underlying reason? As far as I can tell the vote seems kind of OMGUSy for a deadline vote, since most of your last few interactions with bona was arguing with him over his characterization of your gameplay. Also, why were you so concerned about there being a jamiet wagon, and how do you feel about kak?

My view on kak is that he is slightly scummy but less so than I viewed either aaro or damo. As mentioned at the start of the day I was heavily locked into killing one of the two and my view was that it would take something blatant to make me deviate from that path. While it was unfortunate that we flipped aaro instead of damo like I wanted, I was able to grow my town core and shrink my PoE as a result of it and have a good idea of where I want to go tomorrow. I'll post my PoE at EoN.

It's quite late for me but I think it's more productive to answer this off the cuff than prepared.

In M73, I helped start the Kak wagon D1:

imo just go for it, act hyper confident in every whim or thought you have and pursue them to the fullest degree. it's a game and more fun that way. if you're wrong that's okay. if you're right then you get bragging rights for the rest of your life. plus, as long as there is some basis to your thoughts, it helps prod discussion.

and in my experience of one (1) game here it was talked about a bit but no one ever voted off lurkers or low posters. which led to a lackluster endgame kinda. no idea on stats

for lurking/I didn't get his in-character posts. Then Kak flipped town and I felt reallllllllly bad about it. Probably just strong feelings from first forum mafia game. But I felt very bad.

And I feel like my feelings have carried over into this game. Not to mention I missed Kak writing a reference just for me, and then feeling sad when I missed it. So. If anything I feel like I've buddied myself onto Kak. I think I have a blindspot reading him and I doubt that I'll be any help figuring him out in this game, town or scum.

So if you think he might be scum, and a D3 DK candidate, I would trust you, Celaph, I would trust you enough to sheep you on it.

I'm not trying to blame anyone at all but I really do want to say how much harder this game is on virtue of like half the game just not saying anything at all

Perhaps at night, perhaps not, but please I recommend everyone prepare to put some time into making posts in this game because that was not a good turn of events

@DLmy principal objectives at EOD voting were

1) to kill scum BUT I had no strong svumvibes

2) self preservation

3) Maniac preservation

Bona's comment when I joined the aaro wagon gave me pause for thought, nudging Bona slightly downwards and making me pretty certain aaro and Bona were not scum together.

With the relative staticness close to EOD it was apparent scum were happy enough. I therefore considered those who were not then a wagon and Kak was blindingly obvious to go for.

My current non town pool is Kak, Pyxxy (back in), Bona , Sabi and TFB.
