I've been in London the whole weekend to see Iggy Pop + Blondie. I stated this earlier.

On page 169 you said DemonRHK was one of your top townreads. You then didn't mention him again until this, as far as I can see:
And then you had a big fight with Ezio.
Nowhere do you do some huge piece of work like you seem to claim.

Explorer's Log
2248.12.7
Sergeant Carlyle, acting CO of the cave team. I don't know where I'm going with all this, but someone has to know what has happened here.
"Disaster" doesn't do it justice. We brought a week's worth of non-perishable supplies. The only "good" news to report is that our casualty rate is so high, those supplies will probably last a month.
The initial cave tunnels gave way to a massive trench, several kilometers long and an unknown distance deep. We didn't even bother trying to go all the way down. There's a sizable landing on a sort of plateau above the deepest parts of the trench, which runs for two kilometers in the direction of the Fortress. Fortunately we brought enough Illux lamps to light the way.
We reached a sheer stone wall with a tunnel hewn into it. We have no idea what could have hewn such a massive tunnel so perfectly square, this far away from any civilization, but something did. The entrance was framed with a metallic substance we've never seen before and couldn't identify. The tunnel ran straight north - which is where the Fortress was supposed to be.
Everything was fine until then. We knew something was wrong, but we couldn't ignore the tunnel. We felt in our hearts that we HAD to go. But stepping into that tunnel was the worst mistake we could have made.
The tunnel ran a few hundred meters before opening into another trench, but the walls of this one were perfectly square. Not a minute into our team stepping out of the tunnel toward the trench, Lance Corporal Arlington got too close, and the ground fell from underneath him. The trench was so deep that we never heard an impact. In hindsight, the fact that the part of the ground that fell was a perfect square should have been a sign...
ligma balls haha gottem
Hours later, Private Locklear took off running into a side tunnel, claiming that he saw Arlington. Four of our scientists were with him and ran after him to get him. The tunnel caved in and trapped them all. We could hear them, and tried to call out to them, but Locklear wasn't having it... yelling about being doomed, but at least they'd be one again... then we heard gunshots, and screams. Five more dead, just like that. No sense about it.
We make camp before deciding whether to leave or not, and the three we left on watch - Corporal McGrath, Private Washington, Lance Corporal Lindsay - disappeared by the time anyone woke up. Four of us - the CO, Lieutenant McQueen; myself; and Privates Adams and O'Hare - went looking for them deeper into the trench. Adams and O'Hare split off, I have no idea if they're still alive. But McQueen and I found another non-natural tunnel hewn into the face of the wall deeper into the fissure. This time, it almost looked like a temple or religious site. I told McQueen we shouldn't have gone, but he was in charge, and he said the trip "wouldn't be made whole" if we left.
So we went in, and we found McGrath, Washington, and Lindsay, disemboweled, apparently by their own hands. McQueen looked at me, beaming, crying like he saw a newborn, and said "See? Now they're one. As should we be," and drew his service revolver and shot himself right in front of me.
So obviously I got the hell out of there. I'm back at our temporary camp at the top of the trench, and I guess I'm the acting CO now. We've been trying to reach the Titan for two days now to get extracted, but with no luck.
What the hell is going on here? I thought we were looking for an ancient cruise ship that wrecked and sank at sea. Now everyone's losing their minds and talking about "becoming one" and offing themselves. Is this what happened to the ship? Is there even a ship? (I'm joking on the last question. Sort of. It did up and move once.)
I'm trying to find volunteers to go find Adams and O'Hare, but after the results of the search for McGrath's group, I don't think I even want to go. We can't leave them behind if they're alive, but we can't risk any more lives if they aren't. And it seems obvious that we shouldn't spend any more time down there than necessary. But I don't want to leave them behind...
