And yeah, this was pretty fucking funny.Ezio wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 11:07 pmlolsweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 11:02 pmLet me help you be more explicit so people can understand:
Because my vote came after the deadline, it could have been fake. That is, I could have purposely waited until just after the deadline.

Is it against the rules to purposely post after the GM has asked for players to hold? Or is Mafia allowed to fake a cross post?

Well, bye Vecna. Answers that question.

I said in the moment you were doing an act of going against the grain but it was fake.

I'm not the GM but it's definitely against the rules to deliberately, knowingly post after the phase deadline when you've been told to shut the fuck up.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 11:02 pmLet me help you be more explicit so people can understand:Ezio wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 10:55 pmAfter EoD doesn't count. No credit. Looks like you want all the credit for bussing but none of the penalty.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 10:52 pm
Your theory may have some merit, but can you explain why I flipped back to damo at the last second?

Wow that you would even ask this.
This is my potato. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My potato is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my potato is useless. Without my potato, I am useless.

Any posting between the GM's post that a phase has ended and the GM's post that the next phase has begun is technically against the rules. Because they are so often accidental, they are essentially never punished. But intentionally posting after a phase has ended to gain tactical advantage is certainly against the rules.

It's funny because these votes actually convinced me to drop my newfound scumread on you. I'd buy it if you'd jumped on damo earlier, thinking it wouldn't take off, but you were a critical vote on his wagon. I don't see someone dropping that bus.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 10:52 pmYour theory may have some merit, but can you explain why I flipped back to damo at the last second?

Anyways ghosts are sus of Ghug and Sweet.
One of them is saying Sweet seemed to know Aaro was gonna flip before the flip happened N2.
Someone else should look into that before we hammer ghug. I've gotta go sadly.

Just to clarify, it was a hilariously ironic accident. I didn't notice the time and additionally with the D2 hammer I thought for some reason that the phase was set to end later.President Eden wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 11:10 pmironic.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 11:02 pm##CALL GM

Evidence: I drafted what I intended to post right before EoN, but never posted it. Since I didn't die, this ended up being okay.

Wait, only two ghosts sending messages? Are there older messages? Did anyone else talk in singles chat?
Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Interesting, sweet would be my 4 option at the moment, but it's not out of the question.
