If Donny is mafia, he would not want to antagonize any of his voters more than he had to, so I could see him picking one so he has a place to put his vote and ignoring the rest. He also would want to get his vote off of celaph knowing celaph had yet to vote.
if Donny is mafia, why wouldn't he just vote someone that's not on his wagon or vote Flum to self-preserve?

bozo I would really like to know why you hate my Rivera case so much
rdrivera would not try to pocket me as scum and his reaction to Fluminator was similar to mine.
I have never said he tried to pocket you, you'll not in my wall post that I made it very clear that I was incorrect about him defending you. And it's not true that your Flum reactions were similar, they were the opposite. He explicitly said Flum was scummy and didn't vote for him (until the very end). You explicitly said Flum was towny and did vote for him.
I voted for Fluminator after rdrivera, and I had doubts about Fluminator the way things developed.

Voting for someone not on his wagon could make them more likely to vote for him, and he would not want to look like he was just voting for self preservation that early, he always had the option of moving later.

No I'm not saying reads all need to fit together perfectly, but you can't just make random assertions that don't fit in at all with your idea of the game state. Then you're just doing pointless 'what if' exercises.
It's not a random assertion. HR's behavior is individually scummy. Donny's behavior is individually scummy. Based on HR's behavior, Donny would make a lot of sense as a partner, which would be enough for me to reconsider the townread should HR flip scum.

I don't have to know HR's exact scum motivation to believe that his play wasn't town-motivated. You're asking me for possibilities, so I'm giving them.
No Donny's behavior is not individually scummy! What? What's scummy about him? And if Donny and HR are partners, why was HR's first read "I thought Donny was towny but now I don't"?

You're saying HR's behavior of being active at EOD is scummy on it's own and it's not, he does it as town. Now you're trying to add in something about Donny to make it seems scummier, but it's the opposite. Finding people who are towny near EOD is one of the most towny things a person can do.
Sorry, that should read "Donny's behavior is individually towny", though I feel like you would have realized that when I talked about townreading him later in the post if you weren't just looking for gotchas.

if you believe that donny was calculating to maximize his chances of survival at EOD, then surely he could've just found a lurker or someone locked onto the flum wagon rather than antagonize all members of his existing wagon by randomly picking one of them to vote

You did not mention him by name at least, and he was voting for you.
I responded directly to his vote for me...
OK, but your top scum read is still coincidentally that first player to vote for you.
I thought his vote was bad.

I also never said he was my top scumread. I'm pleasantly unburdened by a tunnel right now.

I cannot believe this is the crux of your scum!donny read.
I believe votes are a good place to look scum motivation. After reviewing the 98 votes placed D1, ghug's votes for rdrivera and Fluminator were 2 of the most suspicious.
Do you not agree with the assessment I made at the time I voted Fluminator that further vote switches were unlikely to change the outcome?

I don't think bozo's considering that in his scumread

One of your points was entirely invalidated by the correction and the other was just rehashing the argument we've already had (you think the behavior is towny, I think it's scummy). I don't see much point in talking in circles.

Yeah I get being uncertain on Flum, I was uncertain for sure. I just don't get how you find someone's reaction to pressure weird and scummy and yet question their wagon rather than join it.
Because I can´t find a scum motivation for Flum to make such a easily dispovable claim. But the reaction was weird and scummy so I keep changing my mind about him being scum or not.
Later I joined for the same reason of Bozo, it became obvious we will need to deal with him sooner or later and better to be on D1 then later.
Yeah. tbh ghug saying my case was very compelling when I asked why he scumread you but not commenting on it before really took the energy out of this read.

Though it's a little weird that you brushed aside bob's wagon because he was sleeping and made no other references to him whatsoever throughout all of D1... Even when he was a bigger wagon near the end... But maybe now I'm really just tunneling.
I don´t like to jump on wagons on people we know will be absent at EOD on D1, because more then once we hit a town PR that can´t defend himself or claim.
And I don´t have a scumread on Bob, he looks like ... Bob.
