Ive been watching videos and I got really good ideas from tik toks about how to make my own Hamas

So the recipe calls for garlic, pine nuts, chile pepper and onion powder.
any thoughts on how to improve my hamas experience?

That's just our lovable neighbourhood troll at work.

I do like hummus.. hamas not quite so much.. but I almost find people, who are usually nowhere near the conflict, who think hamas = Palestine or represent all Palestinians more distasteful/offputting than hamas itself (and way more distasteful than hummus)

Good pun; you had me there for a second. Hummus IS quite good though. And to Kestas' point, I must agree, those who support Hamas for the purpose of "supporting Palestine" have no idea what the implications of what they have said are. But I don't think Brain was doing that, or he would have posted this in the politics forum.

Hummous tip: roast/toast the garlic.

Nah, just chop it up and mix it in raw with olive oil, salt and lemon juice

Store-bought or homemade hummus turns extraordinary!

Don't oversaturate the hummus in spice and whatnot. It may seem delicious to do so, but it takes away from the overall hummusness, if you know what i mean

Fellow Canadians may appreciate this blast from the past: Kenny's mom's hummus recipe, which was featured in the classic Kenny vs. Spenny episode "Who is the Better Chef?".

4 cloves garlic
1/3 cup (75ml) sesame seed paste (tahini)
1/4 cup (50 ml) water or chick pea water
4 tblsp. (45ml) olive oil
6 tblsp. (75ml) lemon juice
1 can (540ml) chick peas, well drained
1/2 tsp (2ml) cumin
1 tsp (4ml) Coriander
1/4 tsp (1ml) cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Paprika for garnish

Combine all ingredients except paprika in blender and blend.

Smear mixture into a flat plate and garnish with olive oil and paprika.

Opinions should be formed before adequate research is done. This creates suspense as you research the given topic

Instead of onion powder go with gun powder, 7-10 teaspoons or 9-11 if you are pro. It's the old pilots' trick, might sound crazy, but it will blow anyone's mind. Bon appetit
