Just dumped $282 into 3 AP tests I don't feel confident in. Anyone else having a good day?

I have tonsillitis :)

I don't have a clue what dumping $282 into AP tests actually means, but it doesn't sound fun

It's better than actually taking a college class, I suppose

An AP test is a college level test that you take at the end of an advanced placement class in high school. Or something

Just under $100 for a single test for me.

That's what practice books are for as a way to understand what you need to get through the tests. You don't need to know everything.

APs don't actually teach you shit at a college level, but they knock several thousand dollars off tuition if you plan right, and they're not all that hard to get through if you pay some attention on class all year (even if you have a teacher like 2WL). Drop as much on them as you can.

AP Environmental Science
AP US History
AP Psych

AP Psych is a bitch, but the other two are fairly easy tests that you can study course material for and pass. If you're on the fence about all three, personally I would suggest putting time into making sure you're solid on ES and APUSH and then try and handle AP Psych last just to be sure that you at least get two out of the three credits without much worry.

And considering how much you can save on college tuition with AP tests, taking a prep class or having a few sessions with a tutor is not a bad investment.

Noted. I planned to study on Khan. It got me a pretty solid SAT score

I’m saving two semesters worth of tuition because of AP tests so I definitely agree take several.

Psych is way overhyped. As long as you write an essay in coherent English you'll get a 4 or a 5.

I hear ghug did really well on the “plants” section of APES :)

Which one? Soil? Acid rain? Emissions? Effects of “greenhouse gasses?” Sustainability? APES is a shitload of material. Especially when you get into air pollution
