okay so here is the idea. you have doggerland. it is two provinces in north sea and heliogoland bight, neither is a supply center. the one which replaces heliogoland bight will be a bit larger, connecting to skaggerack and beglium, while the one which replaces north sea will connect to the same areas.there will be an added sea in the north between upper doggerland and norwegian sea , connecting to the supply centers of Edinburg and norway. what do you guys thing?

Just my opinion, but I think that would make England a lot worse without more modifications. The London Fleet would lose lots of value, and if you made it an army, France would become even stronger with no instant opposition into the English Channel. In addition, it also makes Germany have obvious borders with England, putting them in a VERY difficult position. I think I could definitely be wrong though, a common opening would put an English Tank in Doggerland early on leaving Germany with a border with the Russian army at Warsaw, France in Burgundy or Belgium, AND Austria. Only Russia has something like that, but they start with 4 units to make up for it. Another thing would be that it would give Russia a lot more control in the Scandanavian Region with England and Germany almost instantly coming into conflict. I think though, as a positive, it would make England able to be much more offensive in the beginning. I also think it would be interesting to see in action, although I think it may work better if Doggerland was just one province with England having their fleet in London being able to go to Doggerland to attack Belgium or the English Channel as anti-French opening, or if they wanted to go crazy a navy in both the Norwegian Sea and the North Sea (if you choose not to replace it, which I think would be a better choice, though that's just my opinion and I could definetly be convinced otherwise) in order to have an anti-Russian opening.

Imo, it would make sense to remake the whole map in terms of the peoples living in Europe during this period of time. I found this article which has some helpful maps: http://www.abroadintheyard.com/maps-of- ... and-y-dna/

The novelty would not only be in the different geography around the North Sea, but also the different geography of the nations selected for the variant. I like the idea and might try to make this a reality. Will post here if I follow through with this idea and need playtesters.
