#1 Post by Valis2501 » Sun Sep 06, 2020 2:48 am

Anyone here keep aquariums? I've got 5 freshwater planted community aquariums going right now. 5 tall, 7 cube, 12 bookshelf, 20 tall, 20 long.

There is something fishy about this thread.

1 Snail? Is it a specific kind of snail such as Mystery Snail or Nerite Snail or is this more of a "1 snail....for now" situation? What are your thoughts for stocking the 50 l?

Let me tell you, the 5 gallon portrait should basically just not exist. You can do a couple Endlers or clown killis or shrimp humanely, probably, but it's just such a bad idea especially for beginners like it is marketed for.

Oh yeah, clown loaches can get massive, did you see the ones that Aquarium Coop had in the 800 gallon?

Here's a (very first attempt) timelapse of one of my aquariums:

Sweet, years ago I took 2 guppies for a small globe aquarium. Only in months, they became so many that I had to change the aquarium into something bigger. Later I lent them to a relative of my mother when I was going on vacation and then, I haven't wanted them back. That was when I was going to primary school and I even remember that I wanted to stay with the baby fish even if I was already late to school :)

Nerite Snail. Been in tank 2 years, 4 months

Currently no plans for 50l.

I did. I used to watch the Coop a lot, but I've gotten tired of it now that Cory has gone more into being 'mainstream'. I miss his old content, which was more authentic to me than his current stuff.

New timelapse out!

My Endler's are going bananas! There must be almost 50 in my 7 gallon tank. If you want any and are in the Bay Area just let me know...otherwise I'm sure I can find a local fish store that will take them. That's the main thing with live bearers: I love them to death and they're fun and colorful but boy do they take the whole "be fruitful and multiply" thing quite seriously.
