Web and V Diplomacy

#1 Post by GracchusBabeuf » Fri Apr 22, 2022 2:27 am

I was just checking out VDiplomacy so that I can have yet another site to play on, and I was surprised to see that it has an extremely similar design and interface to WebDiplomacy. I am now curious, was it made by the same developers or something?

It's our sister site, aimed at variants. Many things are shared, including the design and interface.

The key reason why is that webDiplomacy is open source! There's actually a bunch of sites that use our code, including a few language variants. (Even PlayDiplomacy was based off webDip's code orignally)
Should we turn off signatures?

Oh that's really cool!
I was checking out the variants and many of them look really fun.

It is also great that the site is open source, something I am very in favor of.
Thanks for the responses!
