Hi, I was going to try playing diplomacy basically for the first time after watching some videos on it. So I tried a bot game and it was going well until 1908 when the game suddenly ended. I tried starting a new game, but they always end immediately. I wondered if it was an issue about being logged in, so I logged into my account (that I'd created awhile before, I had to reset my password to get in). Now when I try to start a game against a bot to practice and get familiar with the controls and rules, it says 601/600 games are started. Is there a way to get in a queue? I'd like to practice a bit before trying a real game. Thanks for the help!

I can't start a game either. God please bestow upon us the strength and genius of the mods

I think a queue doesn't exist, albeit making these limits permanent would call for one.

Are people still experiencing this? Whenever I try to create an AI game it works, except full press which is at the limit.

Yes. The limit appear to be sporadically being reached - sometimes I can create a bot game, sometimes I can't.

Echoing this. It works and sometimes it doesn't. Full press is always at an interesting limit too - "-1/7 slots filled". What's up with that?

To be honest being able to create sometimes and not others is the intention; a 600 game limit is probably about right.

Yeah I noticed the -1 / 7 slots filled thing, and I need to look into points refunds for bot games. When you're writing code to stop an ongoing attack it can be a bit slapdash
