WebUI on mobile is unusable

Hello, I would like to report two issues that I have with the mobile WebUI that make it unusable for me:
1. Opening the press in mobile mode makes it impossible to close or change tab (see second image, img1.png).
2. Changing to desktop mode will only show the board in a very small portion of the screen (see first image, img2.png).

I'm not quite sure what the relevant specs of my cellphone are, but I'm running Firefox on Android in a 720p screen.
Feel free to request further information about it.

I've never liked the new interface, although I've not encountered any issues quite so extreme as those. As a temporary solution you may be better served via the old drop down menu interface, which can be selected via Account, then Settings.

This, combined with desktop mode, works pretty well on my mobile. No guarantee it will work on yours, if course, but worth a look

I simply use the classic interface on mobile, it works fine.

The classic interface seems to work fine, although I'm a new user here and frankly the newer one seems more intuitive to me.
If I have to rely on mobile, it suffices, but having the new one fully operational would be great.

Hmm.. I'm not able to reproduce on an old android I have available:

Can you google "what is my user agent" from your phone and paste the result so I can see what browser you're using? Can you try turning it portrait and see what it looks like there, and try it in Google Chrome if that's not what you're currently using?

I just use the old interface even on desktop, so that's what I recommend to do for now.

I think that designing a good UI for playing diplomacy which is suitable for multiple end devices is the end boss of UI design.

I rather like the new UI on mobile (running Chrome on an iphone 12). Could use a few tweaks here and there, but what upgrade doesn’t? Shoutout to the devs and mods!

I've had no issues with both the new and the old UI
I'm using Firefox and Chrome on a Google Pixel 6 Pro
