Game not starting after several hours being full, says “next process cycle”

I joined this game as the seventh player several hours ago, and it simply says “game will start on next process cycle”. I have had this popup before, however it has never been this long. Is this just a routine issue, or is something broken on the site?

I forced the game to start immediately, while it would have started in another 4 hours or so.
Please note that you have better probability of a quick answer if you ask for help via the mod forum (follow the "Need help?" link on the game page)

I just experienced the same thing as the 7th signup for the doodoo game.

It’s been 2 days and yet the game hasn’t started.
