Problems with AI games

#1 Post by VertAzur » Tue Mar 14, 2023 7:51 am

Hello,
I've started many AI/bot games yesterday (Classic France-Austria) : input my first moves, and nothing more, the server doesn't respond. Usually responses are immediates ... or almost.
There was a similary problem last week, but it may not be related. An idea ?
Thanks

Hmm, thanks for reporting, the FvA bot is definitely a bit less stable as it runs from my home machine right now, unlike the main bots that run on the server, I’ll see what’s going on when I get home. I need to put something in place so that it auto restarts etc

The FvA bot hung for some reason, and is back up and running now. CUDA running via WSL isn't very stable, might need to get a dedicated UNIX machine for these bots. Let's see how it goes

Might take a while to catch up, the FvA bot is much slower than the MILA bots
