Apologies if this was somewhere in the rules document, but when is the cutoff for no-shows when subs will be brought in?

When I determine the player is MIA, or when the game has started and the player has NMR'd (no moves received) twice.

On that note, I will be endlessly looking for more substitute players so please message me if you're interested in subbing into the tournament.

The second game for each round will start around two weeks after the first game starts so players aren't starting two games at once.

How long do people have to join their games? I noticed some of them haven't started yet.

ALL FIRST GAMES FOR ROUND ONE ARE NOW RUNNING (it's a goddamn christmas miracle!)
