Re: Favourite country and why?

Russia, Austria, and Germany are up near the top for press games. Each requires maximum effort diplomatically. I don't have a favorite really, but my *best* results usually involve England.

Overpriced deli sammiches aren't my bag, baby. If I was going to indulge I'd go with Firehouse though. Never been real impressed with any Subway location.

Doesn't really matter too much what it is when I partake. I'm hungry. Give something resembling a burrito and it will vanish.

Our go-to when I lived in Florida was Whataburger or Waffle House. Nothing beats some greasy hash browns smothered, covered, chopped, topped, etc. when the munchies attack.

Re: Mohsen Fakhrizadeh Assassination and other Middle Eastern developments

Do you not agree that nukes are only a deterrent in an established system with an effective method of delivery? When you are in the very early stages, where your effective arsenal can be counted on the fingers of one hand if you're lucky, or not yet counted at all, then it's less a deterrent and mo...

The strategy works wonders for North Korea. You think so? I'm not convinced nuclear weapons have achieved anything for North Korea other than more deaths due to starvation and poverty. China guaranteed the regime's survival, combined with half a century of not invading anyone. Take China out of the...

Re: Neil Armstrong screwed up

None of it makes sense if you think about it too much about it. In what sense is Neil stepping off the spacecraft a giant leap for mankind. The giant leaps all occurred some time before back on earth and in testing. There was apparently quite a lot of impressive flying on the way down. Successfully...

Every news network has some kind of bias. Anyway, sounds like O'keefe may catch a charge out of the stunt. CNN has referred the *potentially criminal* action to law enforcement.

Re: Mohsen Fakhrizadeh Assassination and other Middle Eastern developments

maybe you can clarify, is it impossible for any deal with Iran t prevent them developing nuclear weapons, or was this just a bad deal? Obviously it's not impossible. A deal, say, where you promised to pay Iran a trillion dollars a year for not touching anything remotely nuclear would undoubtedly ha...

Frankly, I'm confused.

What's going on with Italy controlling the board? I don't remember them being known for their Grand Diplomatic Power during that time period.
Pope Leo XIII resurrected Augustus. Zombie Caesar is the leading the Italians to the new promise land: Norway.
