Re: Southern Boarder

Trump's Wall was a bad joke on the American taxpayer. It costed on average $4.6 million per mile and was climbable with a $5 ladder. Contract costs were increasing with no oversight to rein in costs. It took money from defense contracts that were for improving US security and helping military famili...

Re: Freedom of speech

Facebook has repeatably cited for ignoring its own rules or making an exemption for politicians in the interest not of providing information, but to make more money for themselves. Not only for political speech, but for misinformation on health and other topics. These aren't differences of opinion, ...

Re: Black Lives Matter protesters "Overwhelmingly Peaceful" and "remarkably nonviolent", study finds

But what is the percentage of those arrested that had charges dropped and not brought to trial? Police will illegally arrest and charge people only ti drop all charges and release hours later. They count arrests for news reporters who were legally present doing their jobs. They count arrests for eme...

Re: Freedom of speech

The Supreme Court has placed limits on Free Speech, but it comes as specific instances and not general rules. This it leaves up ti the rest of the government that usually does overly broad rules that are then picked at by the courts on a case by case basis. Om January 6, Trump and company gave speec...

Re: Meanwhile another Palestinian Genocide brought to you by Israeli Fascists

Seriously? Do Palestinian's have the same rights to lost homes from 70 years ago? Well if you say Palestinian squatters given homes by Jordanian conquerors from their Jewish owners is legal. Then Israel which conquered East Jerusalem in 1967 and annexed it would have the same legal rights to return...

Re: Meanwhile another Palestinian Genocide brought to you by Israeli Fascists

The disproportionate use of force never ceases to amaze me. If Israel hadn't spent decades on rocket and missile defense after Iraq's Scud missiles, the results would have been different. Over 1300 rockets launched by Hamas and a quarter landed in Gaza to hurt their own people. What do recommend, a...

Re: Call of Duty is why there are mass shootings

Gun regulation will reduce the number of deaths per incident. If you look at counties with the tightest regulation like Japan, when they have mass killings the death toll is lower because the perpetrator has to use a sword or other weapon that takes longer to kill. The ease od getting a gun with a h...

Much like the decline and fall of the Roman Empire, the barbarians are at the gates because they already live here. Trump accelerated the denial of science and rational thought so now opinion trumps facts.

It's cheaper to pay politicians to do not regulate then to upgrade power p;ants for a rate event. Especially when those political donations make the companies face no penalties for doing nothing.

Re: Facebook and Google fight Australian proposal to make them pay media organisations for content

It's more of taking copyrighted content and using it without payment by claiming fair usage of more material than has been previously allowed. A country is now defining how much can be used legally.

People usually want confirmation of their beliefs. So finding a source that has similar views makes people comfortable and ignore sources that contradict their beliefs. Google makes it easier for them because the search algorithm stores information about past searches and results you use. So later s...

Having seen the body count from Trump supporters over the last 4 years, I don't want to wait to see if the law or mob rule wins out. We've just finished the more polite fake lawsuits to over turn the election where almost all of them were hearsay allegations or just obviously fake information that s...
