On the other hand IIRC in the current World Cup games, when a player requested a pause, our beloved TD Goldfinger gunboated the game for the duration of the pause ...
That was also to not give the other players an unfair extra amount of negotation time during the pause.

This is different from the webDip player map, where you are still listed.

Bill is creating a Face-to-Face registry, so Tournament Directors can find FtF players in their region.

Found your game, which confirms my suspicion:

Russia:
The fleet at Sevastopol move to Rumania. (fail)
The fleet at Sweden move to Norway. (fail)
The army at Moscow move to St. Petersburg. (fail)
The army at Livonia support move to Moscow from St. Petersburg. (fail)

Re: Confused by what's happening in my game

From the looks of it, though I can't be certain without checking the written orders (which you can in your game), it seems Russia misordered Livonia. Re: If you could change one thing...

The standard map is perfect. If I had to choose anything, it would be between NAf and Spain being connected (as you suggested) and Bal-Ska being connected. Neither would invalidate the stalemate line. I've tried both moves in Face to Face but the GM ruled against me.
