Re: Dave Matthews Band

How is your beloved wife and fledgling Brainbomb, in good spirits I hope? Now there is a most fortunate fledgling in my opinion, having a civilised Artist father and wonderfully intelligent mother will I trust more than adequately compensate the deficiencies of North American education systems. What...

"competitive gunboat" has to be one of the more amusing oxymorons I have read in several years in our Forum with More Decorum. Genuiene Competive pressure is a Silesian Surprise from Jamiet99UK with Peregrine Falcon stealing your scs & Maniac offering alliance all in the same Sprimg 07 move. You whi...

Re: Dave Matthews Band

Hoorah Dipbro Brainbomb, the song Ants Marching is exceptional, a chap might wax lyrically about the vituosity of the Saxaphonist or Violinist, yet for me, the Drummer was simply superb, a gifted percussionist, gave the other players sax, oboe, violin particularly space/time to play and kept it all ...

Re: Outlandish Theory of the Week

Dare I suggest, yes I will suggest that Churchill's post WW2 election loss was about Policy issues. Octavious in my opinion makes some valid points in his post. In my opinion the Conservatives lost because there was a strong desire to "not repeat" what occurred after WW1, and a strong desire to impl...

Re: The Ashes 2021/2022

Well The Tourists, chasing 270 runs for a draw, 271 runs for victory are 7 wickets for 115 runs as I post this....
Australia need 3 wickets for victory... and Boland has just taken one, Woakes out for 5 runs.

Re: The Ashes 2021/2022

Mark Wood is bowling beautifully for The Tourists. Day three, Australia 6 out for 64 runs, lead by 179 runs. There should be a result. Given the furore over Tennis Prima Donna Novax & public hostility here towards PM Smirko, I doubt if Smirko has any desire to meddle in cricketing affairs here. Tenn...

Re: The Ashes 2021/2022

Typos, the odds on an Austrian win would be 1,000s to one.
However the loss of four wickets in the first session will have shifted the odds on an Australian victory.

Re: The Ashes 2021/2022

Fifth day of the Pink Test at the Synney Cricket Ground, the best news is that over $Aus 5 million had been raised for the Jane McGrath Foundation & we thank the Torists for managing to bat well enough to take the game into the fifth day. As I watch Lyon is bowling, The Tourists are 5 for 199 runs n...

Re: The Ashes 2021/2022

The Pink Third Test at the Synney Cricket Ground is in it's third day. Australia scored 416 runs in their first innings. The Tourists are 4 wickets down for 69 runs. Ben Stokes had an amazing escape, a fast ball from Green hit off stump high up with force to shift the stump sideways, the bail moved ...
