SoS is the closest scoring method webDip has to reward the board-top in the event of a draw, so it seemed the best choice.

These ghost-rating lists worked fine for the most part. I'm pretty sure that only active players were listed - I think players needed to complete a game within some number of months to stay on the list. There was one error in the code that included rulebook in with gunboat instead of with press. And...

As long as you win, your Ghost Rating (GR) score (not rank necessarily) always increases, no matter who you play. It increases in relation to the GR ratings of the players you defeated, so you gain more by defeating players with higher GRs, but playing against highly ranked players is not necessary....

Is it possible that this is the case only if the scoring system is SOS?, because I have calculated the expected changes in GRs a few times in DSS scoring and the GR changes made sense to me (not squared).
