Re: "Social Square" 49 players Gunboat Series

Hey, I'm glad this showed up on Discord. I've not been around in a while but this sounds like a lot of fun! Am I too late to sign up?

Re: New Years Gunboat

Happy New Year folks! It's been a while since I've been on, but if there's still space on a game, a New Year Gunboat sounds tempting! Pretty relaxed about settings - longer phases are probably preferable for me to avoid being on it all the time... Let me know!

Return of the Kench

https://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=387793 Let's do this. First game back here in ages is rife with NMRing, which is a disappointment. If there's anyone out there who doesn't mind a longer full press game (3-day phases) but will commit to seeing it out properly (no more than 1 excused delay) t...

Returning to Webdip after an absence

I've been gone for an age but just had the urge to web some dip again!

Anyone up for something lowish stakes, full press and not too quick (I've got a new babbin at home, so getting on every single day may not be totally manageable!)

Re: Fantasy Premier League

Much obliged, Claesar! I was about to do that myself but you've beaten me to it. Let the games begin!

On Saturday.

Re: Fantasy Premier League

#awks I had not realised that. I'm in couple of other leagues already, so I'm not sure if I can also have a drafted team? But yeah, it also strikes me that drafting is fundamentally different because it's more, "set 'em up and let 'em go", whereas what I'm going for is a bit more week on week manage...

Re: Fantasy Premier League

Precisely so. Sorry, it's not a pick 'em and leave it kind of thing.

To be honest, I thought that was how all fantasy football worked, which is why I didn't specify from the outset. Now I see that, possibly, I should have done so!!

Not to worry!

Re: Fantasy Premier League

I will just pick all Arsenal players (obv) and win the whole thing. Also, cdngooner, while you unfortunately can't pick all Arsenal players, you can definitely still get involved with the league if you'd like? To be honest, I'm thinking that we need a minimum of 5 or so players for it to have any s...

Re: Fantasy Premier League

Sorry, Claesar, I realise I wasn't clear. I'm just using the official Premier League Fantasy Football website - wasn't intending to draft, just run it straight from there. In which case, yes, we could all initially put in Vardy, but we'd all have to take him out again after we remember that he's Var...

Re: Fantasy Premier League

Cool, so that's two? I've made my team and can definitely create a league. But would always be good to have a few more than three on board.

Anyone else keen??

Anyone out there interested in a WebDip Fantasy Football League? Dual support of other powers

This is possibly a silly question, and actually one that I can't believe I've never come up against before, but can a power support armies from two other powers into the same empty territory ? For the sake of an example, see below (but let's not question the "should they do this?" too much - I'm mor...

Re: Anyone down for a 2-day full-press game?

I've no strong feelings about the settings to be honest - pretty happy with whatever, though I think Anon is usually a good idea (though I'm not sure any of us have played together before, so there's not masses of meta we could take from knowing who's which country...). Otherwise I'm easy! As for st...
